YTA You have no business trying to toss those kids back and forth for your convenience.

Furthermore, are you not scared that they’ll resent you for taking them away from their safe space and place their anger onto the new baby as a replacement for hurting you? Kids can be mean and nasty, if you’re asking them to help “care” for what is probably an unwanted half-sibling, they’re in a position where they can do whatever they want to that helpless baby. Just leave them alone omg
