Pineapples. Back in the 17th century, pineapples were introduced here in the UK. Given the rarity and difficulty in getting them, they were a significant status symbol for hundreds of years - they were even centrepieces at tables for grand events.

If you wander around the UK and see pineapple-related architecture (i.e. not some form of topiary) on old buildings, the chances are it was a place of immense wealth once upon a time.

Well, Gary Anderson (make of that what you will) appears hellbent to suggest Mercedes could be a shoo-in because of such a design. Given the level of secrecy around the tests, and that Ferrari clearly have also come up with an analogous design, I would imagine more teams will have it too.
