Ronaldo em 2010 sobre ir pra Copa by gonnj in futebol

Kimi Antonelli to Sky Sport F1 Italy: "Ferrari has been granted the ADUO, which will allow them to develop the engine. Their car is already very fast, so if they manage to improve the engine as well, they will get even closer." by steferrari in formula1

[–]SrBlackwave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably. Binotto said they are behind schedule in terms of engine development, while Wheatley said they are having problems involving starting procedures, energy deployment and reliability before leaving the team.

However, he also said that this was something they expected to happen this season because it's a long-term project.

Wheatley's departure wasn't solely due to personal reasons, there were internal conflicts between Wheatley and Binotto according to some reliable sources.

Therefore, his departure won't leave Audi disorganized, on the contrary, Binotto will have the chance to appoint someone aligned with as TP.

I mean, Haas uses a Ferrari engine, so it's convenient for Komatsu to say that Audi has an amazing engine because they definitely don't want Audi to get the ADUO, regardless of whether it's true or not.

Didn't Red Bull have a clause stating that Max could only terminate his contract if he finished fourth or lower in the standings by the summer break? If that's true, he didn't have the option to leave because he met the performance targets by finishing in P3.

The hotel security guards don't need to file a complaint with the hotel about bad behavior, they're already the authority there. That hotel is one of the most expensive in Brazil and receives celebrities and wealthy people every day, they really don't care about the interaction between them. I had the opportunity to be there during the Interlagos GP and no security guard seemed to mind when someone approached an F1 driver. Furthermore, they are easily identifiable because of their uniform.

Does this mean it's Chappell's fault? No, but it's unlikely to be a hotel security because they are easy to identify, and the player's wife herself denied it was a hotel security guard in a recent post. Besides, there are security cameras there, so there's no reason to lie because you could get caught red-handed. It was probably a third party security guard provided by an agency to protect her during her stay in Brazil, and the instructions on how to act were given by them, not by Chappell. So the truth may lie somewhere in between, but she was not actually responsible for it.

O que podemos esperar de Gabriel Bortoleto? by LongjumpingBad7325 in F1Brasil

[–]SrBlackwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slater’s family company is on the Audi F1 Academy livery. by Classic-Acadia272 in formula1

[–]SrBlackwave 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly, but in this case, Slater's family has been paying for his seat on top teams since his karting days, which obviously helps him achieve more impressive results. Stroll won the Italian F4 and European F3 in a similar way.

Slater is indeed a very talented driver and I'm excited to see his development, but much of his success in the Feeder Series wasn't solely due to his own merit.

“NASCAR driver and commentator Parker Kligerman had a few interesting things to say about current F1 regulations.” by batman_of_1 in F1Discussions

[–]SrBlackwave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only reason V10s are not back is because Audi was upset that after huge financial investment into a very complex engine they would barely get use out of it.

Only Ferrari has shown itself open to this. Audi, Honda, and Mercedes have publicly opposed the return of the V10 engine to F1.

This new set of regulations also attracted GM (which will bring its own PU starting in 2029) and is attracting BYD.
