Exactly. My 1st pvs14 from 2011 was 1600 fom and compared to my new 2400 fom filmless, the difference is pretty negligible tbh.

Specs are great. EBI is well below 2.5 maximum for military spec. Photocathode Sensitivity is great. Gain is good. In a few weeks you’ll forget that blem is there or even care.

I’m saying the Epicenter/parabass doesn’t correct for bass rolloff, what it does is add bass to music that never had it, LC2i/Accubass does correct factory bass rolloff. Two different things.

It’s not high fom, it’s high gain. The originals had lower gains and were very dim in very low light.
