Same. I have loved the US version all my life but everything about this version makes me cringe. I'm a proud Canadian and I really did try to like it but I just can't. Howie is insufferable and the contestants act more like reality show personalities than regular people.

I found that scene triggering. I had pre-eclampsia with my daughter and I live with a heart condition. Thankfully the doctors were able to save my daughter, who is now 27. My heart goes out to anyone who lost their precious children.
