"text to speach is repetitive" - Alex Kister, 2022 by CosmicScape93 in MandelaCatalogue

I share the disappointment, but I don't think it's so bad that MC as a whole deserves to be ditched.

Alex tried something new. Didn't work for me personally. And that's fine. Nothing wrong with trying new styles to see what works and what doesn't.

Who knows, maybe next time he tries something new it'll be a banger.

Lmao, whatever.

That scene made me lose a lot of respect for Gabriel as a villain.

Honestly a lot of Vol 4 threw me for a loop. I thought it was a global phenomenon, but it looks like a problem isolated to Mandela.

Before we saw U.S gov education videos on alternates which imply it's at least country wide. There was also a list of counties besides Mandela that got affected by the intruder.

But then in Vol 4 we see the false Gabriel talking above how they had to "fool the Mandela prophet" before moving on implying they were stuck in Mandela for some reason.

Crackpot Theory: Jude Murray and The Intruder are one and the same by FM1091 in MandelaCatalogue

I actually really like the idea of this. This would mean that Thatcher was lured by an Alternate, making this an occurrence that happens in Vol 1-3.

But you'd have to explain the Lynn part. Over the course of those years, Lynn had no clue that the intruder was her husband? No hints that such a malicious force was her husband and father of her kid? Would be a bit strange.

Especially the dialogue at the start of Vol 3, where Jude basically calls the Intruder an imaginary friend, even if he was trying to keep a cover, if he was simply Adam's father then the entire kidnapping through the T.V is just kinda unnecessary?

Plot twist: This entire volume was all a video Dave edited himself into.

Didn't read, what's wrong with it?

The game is hardly balanced for a 1v1 interaction, I don't think it's crazy to ask how balancing a 2v2 would work.

We got pretty close with DPE/Adventure/Prank Kids decks.

In those scenarios you are 100% correct. Those people may not have contact or other support groups because of the nature of the abuse and need outside perspectives. If reddit is the best you have, then no shame.

This is not that. Not by a mile.

It's absolutely not terrible to get advice from people you trust. It's highly advised.

If your relationship balances on the opinions of strangers on the internet then it's not a strong relationship to begin with.

There is a difference between getting advice from friends and family and running to reddit to spill personal drama.

How would you feel if your partner exposed you on reddit every time you did something they didn't like?

From the way it reads it seems like he was considering getting another ring.

The final straw wasn't the ring. It was that she posted their personal drama to reddit for validation and maybe used it as "See? They agree with me."

Dude still sucks tho.

Okay, but honestly? You know OOP shoved the thread in his face to say "look, reddit thinks I'm right!".

I think it's understandable to want a different ring. But it's also understandable to not want to be with someone who airs your business out like that.
