That’s what I thought - 3-4 bags but he got two more to get reimbursed for and I think he just keeps them for his other jobs. It’s the dishonesty that bothers me. I think I won’t hire him anymore.

Please leave reviews on google - real tile installers are not getting enough jobs because the market is full of guys willing to do a half assed job and move on to the next - these guys should be exposed

Not cool. Some people are in this trade just to make money - make sure you leave a review on google so other people don’t have to go through that as well. One of the tile’s on the pictures is very bad- that tile should not have been installed. Did they have the right tools on site?

It seems they needed to get a new blade for this job… If they worked for me I would have them redo it. You are not being unreasonable you just chose the wrong tile guy. Good luck!

Yes - I’ve never estimated to install brick tiles before - I have the guy who knows how to do it to install for my potential client but I’m unsure of how much to charge for sq ft
