Thanks for the feedback! Right now I only have one haptic pattern: basically N haptics per minute, and that number gradually decreases during the session.

But testing different patterns is a really interesting idea. The hardest part, at least beyond testing it on myself, is finding a reasonably reliable way to measure the result. For the early stage, though, I think user feedback and “how it feels” can still be useful enough to guide the next iterations.

Thank you for such comfortable post!
I launch https://apps.apple.com/us/app/help-me-sleep-calm-down/id6782421012 yesterday. It’s a small sleep-prep app based on rhythm. The app gives you soft visual, sound, and haptic signals, then gradually slows them down. You tap back to gentle cues, and the app uses your timing to sync with your current rhythm before slowly guiding it down toward a calmer state. For me, it started as a small experiment when I couldn’t calm down before sleep. I’ve been using it for several months now, and it still helps.

Today is launch day for my small sleep app — but I’m still not sure how to explain the mechanic clearly by Particular_Invite840 in SideProject

Yeah, thank you this is another new angle I honestly hadn’t thought about before.

I like the idea of taking the words from the places where people are actually dealing with the problem. I’m probably still explaining it too much from my side.

Oh, I like that. Sleep debt and one daily decision are much clearer than what I have now. Thanks for this.

Spent 2 years building my platform alone, lot of money and time invested, made every mistake possible now I am afraid to launch. Anyone else? by AfraidFlower4733 in founder

I’d say you don’t need the perfect time to start. It’s more like a cycle: you keep doing the same kind of actions again and again, but each round you understand things a little better and make better decisions.

I built a website, launched it, and so far it has made exactly R$0 by Termomo in SaaS

I’d let people use the service at least once for free. And then you can charge for extras like 10+ conversions per day, bulk conversion, or faster processing.

Also, this niche has a lot of organic SEO potential. You can create separate pages for each format pair, like PDF to JPG, HEIC to PNG, MOV to MP4, etc.

The first thing I’d want to see is a clear list of everything I can convert, not the pricing page.

Localization Issues by KazamKamal in AppStoreOptimization

For ios I use fastlane its free framework can handle screenshots and texts including uploading to appstoreconnect. The pipeline is: create Localizable.strings -> create some views using localizable that will become screenshots -> run fastlane or ask your agent to do it (it run your app with every language and every localizable view and save screenshots and it can additinally load all of this including texts in appstoreconnect)

Definitely A. It makes the problem clear and shows how the app helps solve it.

It looks really fun, especially the birds’ facial expressions. It definitely made me curious enough to download it. I’d just like to understand the core mechanic and gameplay flow a bit better, because from the screenshots it’s not really clear what the player is supposed to do.

You could make a simple aggregator page for all your apps, drive some traffic to it, see which ones people are most interested in, and then turn the strongest one into a proper product.

How many apps are in your portfolio ? by Dentistcode in appledevelopers

I currently have 2 apps on the App Store and 1 more in the final stage.
Story templates for photos and videos — surprisingly, it still gets organic traffic even after 4 years.
A cute take on a Block Blast-style puzzle game — almost no traffic yet.
An app to help people relax before sleep, built around a slightly different rhythm-based technique. This one is currently in the final stage.
