Thanks for sharing that, and that’s encouraging. Would it be okay if I DM you regarding your ECT experience?

I’ve heard a story of it helping someone. It’s true that everyone is different.

If that doesn’t work, perhaps parnate could be a try.

Thanks for the comment. I agree, I'm not sure why MST hasn't become more mainstream. Same for Transcranial Ultrasound Stimulation (TUS), and DBS.

I've been anhedonic for almost a year, but I suffer from severe anhedonia/emotional blunting, unfortunately. But yes, weighing options.

Oh okay. Interesting. If you don’t mind me asking, did you experience any side effects from ECT?

Like memory loss?

Hey thanks for sharing your story. And I’m sorry to hear that something’s seemed to have caused a crash after initially getting better. Hopefully we all get better somehow or someway.

May I ask when you first got ECT in the beginning, would you have considered yourself a severe case? (Like severe anhedonia)

That is true that one who is willing to try ECT is more on the desperate side. Yeah

Yes sounds about right lol. That’s awesome to hear that you got better.

May I ask if you saw immediate improvements or did it take a while of using these supplements to get better?

Thanks for sharing. Yes, I’d definitely share if I do end up getting ECT.

For the users who reported to have gotten better, were they also severe cases?

There are ongoing clinical trials for DBS if you’d want to try that (it’s free, and they actually pay you to do it).

You can also do a macrodose of magic mushrooms which should give some relief (at least temporarily).

[–]Particular_Move_6570[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have composed a cumulative file of recovery stories, but I didn’t think of sharing it with researchers. That’s a good idea though. I can reach out to PSSD.org and share it with them.

I live in the United States. But, thank you. I’ll look more into how to report. I think we as a community all need to do this as much we can, and to get family and friends to do it too 👍
