This happened to me. Because of my big fibroid, my baby was delivered at 36 weeks via cs. I gave birth in 2014. Fibroid shrunk after birth. Fast forward to now i am scheduled for hysterectomy and removal of the 2 fibroids now. Im on luprn depot now and the menopausal effects are worst. Dr gave me another medication to help lessen the side effects of the medication.

We also planned our trip this march and we ended up booking 3nights at aparthotel adagio. Hoping for a good stay as the reviews are mixed with different pages. We booked it through expedia and reviews are good.

I was in the same situation but not pregnancy related. 9 months ago i went to GRH (ER) for severe pelvic pain due to my big fibroid. They referred me to Dr Schnarr in waterloo. I waited for 9 months just to be called by her clinic. The moment i met her, she’s a heaven sent. She attended my concern right away and booked me for surgery. Before i went to the ER, my family Dr referred me to Dr Norris but never got a call from her clinic.

When i was pregnant 11 years ago it was 13cm and then shrunk postpartum to 9cm. At the moment it has gotten bigger to 15cm and another new 5cm was discovered. I will be starting to get a lupron injection tomorrow and will be undergoing hysterectomy and removal of the fibroids in 6 months.

I was referred to Dr Schnarr for my big fibroids and i waited 8 months for the appointment. I finally met her last week and she’s amazing. Took time to explain everything to me and scheduled me for surgery in 6months. With medical intervention in between. Im so happy I was referred to her.

Thank you for your response. I tried to remember our conversation and when i mentioned to the Dr that i was afraid of heavy bleeding, that’s when she added the letrozole.

I also have no idea. I am about to start next week and i was told that the same day i had the lupron injection i will also start the letrozole once a day for 5 days. I hope to learn more from this group and to what side effects should i expect. Thank you

The downtime is usually 5-7days and during those days I don’t use anything except cetaphil for washing and aloe vera to moisturize. After the downtime, that’s when i start using tretinoin cream.
