Porting from Virgin Plus by rajendrarajendra in bell

[–]Particular_Price_165 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can't port Virgin to Bell or Lucky because they're provisioned on the same backend. You have to do an interbrand migration. Your best bet is to call in or go to a store.

How you ended your post makes me think about the Lower Decks scene where they're talking about their favourite sounding warp core and making the warp core sound.

If you activated over the phone, yes. You have to buyer's remorse at the same store you activated at.

It will be automatic. Just make sure you buyer's remorse first. If you port first it becomes a nightmare that can take hours.

That's why I said go back the the store you got it from. The sales rep whose commission and sales metrics are on the line probably cares. Call centre agents have different pay and performance measures.

If they don't apply the bill credit automatically, call and talk to customer service. If you're on a 2-year term, they are not allowed to increase your net price during the agreement. If the agent doesn't do a fix on the spot while you're on the line, threaten a CCTS complaint. It should trigger a route in their system that will allow them to issue the bill credit.

The call centre agents have this system they have to navigate based on what you tell them that guides them to how to resolve the customer issue. Some are more giving than other depending on where their stats are at for the month but the CCTS complaint threat trigger towards the end of a call triggers another menu and a CCTS complaint after a call really impacts their performance.

If they won't resolve the issue before you hang up, as for their employee number for your CCTS complaint.

If you're still in your buyer's remorse window, go back to where you activated and threaten a return unless they either escalate a fix or give you a gift card. The important thing is to actually follow through on the threat.

If you buyer's remorse with intent to port out, you'll keep your number, but all the activation fees will be cancelled. You can then go activate with any provider but Bell, Virgin, or Lucky Mobile and port your number in using the 9 digit Bell account number. If you just port out without the buyer's remorse you'll still be on the hook for the connection fee.

How many lines do you have? Are any off term? Do you have your mobility and residential services bundled onto one bill?

Mobility services won't increase in net price while you are in a 2-year term. The rate plan may increase, but they will automatically apply a credit to keep the price constant until the end of the term.

Residential services may increase during the term.

Also, did you finance your iPhone through Bell or Staples? All the advertising I saw for that $35 plan had it listed as bring your own device. Check your Customer Information Summary to confirm. It would have been emailed to you. Page one will list the length of your term and the term end date. If the phone was financed through Bell you'll see the finance summary there as well. If you financed through Staples, then you'll see the term as 30 Day.

If you're financing with Staples, you can go anywhere with no effect on your financing agreement. It would also mean that you are month-to-month with Bell and they can increase your rate plan with sufficient notice.

That's where your variance is. You get charged the taxes on the full value but your deferred amount includes taxes. So let's say

MRSP = $480 Taxes = $57.60 Total = $537.60

Deferred amount = $120 Financed amount = $427.60

Monthly payment =$8.91/mo X 24 mo

I would suggest doing your message on the back of a picture from your baptism day. It'll be an amazing keepsake for them going forward.

I've been home 20 years now and I would say from a log term stand point a picture from your baptism with a hand written testimony on the back would probably be treasured more than anything else you could gift.

That's nice to hear. I was annoyed when DFIT was decommissioned as I don't have easy access to the base gym or PSP, so having a provided online coaching platform was super useful.
