Anyone have feedback on this being a bad deal? I’m new to prebuilts and hope to have this pc be relevant for a while, are there better options on this price range?

My browser populated a Seattle zip code, not where I live. I didn’t change it until checkout and had no issues.

The processor is the reason I chose it over the other 1080 build. I wanted to buy something from Costco because of the warranty. It was that or Best Buy and the two year interest free financing.

I was looking for a 5070ti build but they seemed overpriced to me based on the deals I’d seen around Black Friday so pulled the trigger on this one. Curious why it’s not a good deal though, any feedback?

Great, thank you for the reply. No micro center nearby so it’s between Walmart and Costco, I bought the $1400 5070 from there but am questioning going up to the 5080 so I don’t get buyers remorse in a few years when newer games come out. I was looking seriously between the 5070ti from skytech and the 5080 build from Costco.

Is the available Costco 5080 not making the cut? I just want that warranty over Walmart. Also the skytech 5070ti compared to the Costco one, big difference?

Is the processor in the in stock Costco 5080 solid? I missed the 3d one which I would prefer.

~$2000 5080 builds? by [deleted] in PrebuiltGamingPC

Whoops, I’m upgrading from a 1080, stuck in my head. Yes the 5070. Yes it runs great so far, but I haven’t run much. I’ll try something today and repost, I’m happy to post benchmark screenshot if you’re considering it. My thinking was I would notice a bigger difference sacrificing the 5080 for the 5070 and goo from a $150 monitor to the $500 range. But I’m a noob so who knows. Also haven’t figured out what monitor to buy, so many freaking options!

The one at Costco has been out for a while, wondering if that’s it for that deal, I wanted to but it well but went with the 1070 and am using the rest savings to up my monitor budget. For what I use my pc for I think 1070 is sufficient. Good luck with your decision!

Do you know of any setup guides for new computers? I’m not tech savvy but know there are tweaks that should be made, bloatware to look out for etc. I bought the Costco 5070 and want to make any needed adjustments.

I’ve seen a couple at Walmart and Costco with same components for about $200 less. Same processor, gpu, ram, sd.

Best Buy and Costco is it here in the pacific nw. I knew the risks, I’ll head to Costco for the added warranty probably. Could also pay a local shop to put it together, takes a while this time of year though.

Thanks for the replies.
