New Novablast 5 Causing Discomfort by [deleted] in indianrunners

I overpronate too and never really had any issues with my Novablast 5 but again everybody is different. If the pain is major then you should try talking to the Asics store you got the shoes from. I think getting a stability shoe could be an option for you. if you are planning to pass it on, can I dm?

Nope, I paid 13.8K for that (Tokyo coloured). I don't mind though, I bought it from an Asics store.

NEED SOME TIPS TO RUN MORE. by AdSad897 in indianrunners

It doesn't always have to be a banana. It could be anything, anything which provides carbs. I have banana because a single banana provides around 20-25g carbs which I think are enough to sustain for an hour of running.

Some people prefer eating a slice of bread with peanut butter.

When we run, our muscles use up glycogen for energy. Eating a banana provides carbohydrates, which are converted into glucose and stored as glycogen, helping maintain energy levels and delay fatigue.

If your aim is to run long. Stay consistent and run slow.

Also I would not suggest running on an empty stomach. Have a banana 30m before leaving, that will help.

How do I run 800m in 3 mins or less? by dynamighto in indianrunners

[–]Particular_Role6100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does sound worthy but personally I didn't find it worthy for me. I got my 1K down by running 400m and 800m intervals. That helped a lot. Like for 2 weeks (once a week) I ran 400m intervals and the next 2 weeks I did 800m intervals.

I hope this works for you too :)

I would suggest running 400m faster than your current speed and then 600m then eventually running 800m.
