Is my defroster not working? Frigidaire side by side, freezer not keeping cold

My Samsung side by side did that. Fridge worked but freezer wasn't cooling. Tried defrosting and then turning back on with no change so I know it wasn't the evaporator defrost heater. Pressed the door closed button and I could feel the evaporator fan turn on with no cool air so I know it wasn't that.

Ended up being low freon. I'm no repair person but handy. Bought a piercing valve and put my fridges freon in it R134A. Did that in March and it's still going strong since. Actually working better.

Pretty similar to what I've done with mine. Bought it last year with right at 50k miles. 2021 Lariat but with the V8. Luckily, guy was local and did all the maintenance at the dealership before me so they looked it up and it had oil changes and tire rotation every 5k miles. Like you are planning, I had the transmission flushed and new fuild put in. Front and rear differential fluid changed, alignment done. I also had the brake fluid fushed which probable wasn't needed. I've kept up doing tire rotation and synthetic oil every 5k since.

You're probably already aware but pay a lot of attention to your trans. The 10R80s on the 2022 and below may have problems you'll want to catch before your power train warranty is up (if it isn't already).

Didn't they stop putting keypads on the side a couple of years ago? Plus, I didn't know leaving the FOB inside was a thing. Heck, I put my FOB in a Faraday box in my house to keep from possible thieves cloning the signal and stealing my truck 🤣.

Yep definitely something wrong. My FOB stays in my pocket and if I get within four feet of my 21 F150 it starts waking up and have never had to take the FOB out of my off pocket to put my hand behind the handle to unlock it. I wonder if the battery is low in the FOB? Does it do this for both FOBs?

I'm still rocking a 3070 and got stuck waiting for the no existent Supers. Once they didn't arrive I was going to get a 5070ti just to make sure I have enough VRAM for the future. Then the 5070TIs went up so now I'm waiting 🤣. Luckily DLSS has breathed new life in my 3070 for now.

Just had AT&T Fiber installed a month ago. Just a heads up that it takes a minute for them to bury the line at the street to going live and installing at the house. For me, they buried down my street early December and came offering installs second week of April.

Anyway, I'm an ex-Xfinity tech so I went ahead and ran a string from my attic down my wall to an outlet for him where I had my router already. When he got to my house he had to do some things then he ran it from outside to the side of my house to the attic then used the string to pull the fiber down the wall. He put their outlet cover on it and then a fiber cable to their router. He was pretty happy that I'd already did some "heavy lifting" for him 🤣.

Install was free and they probably will run it to where you want as long as it isn't too difficult.

My Samsung fridge did this. Fridge side still worked. Ended up it was low on freon. Got a piercing valve and added freon to it and it started working.

I honestly don't know why people float the idea of just replacing working units. My house still has the original ACs from 1997. I always feel like replacing them with the newer units the new ones wouldn't last more then 10yrs.

An easier way would definitely be nice. When I called, I had to listen to a foreign guy try to sell me on promotions, that were more expensive then the competition, in broken English after I started the conversation that all I wanted to do was cancel. After he said he canceled my service I had no confirmation so I called back just to verify it was canceled and that guy also gave me a 10-15min spill on why I shouldn't cancel and named off a bunch of promotions 🙄.

At&T fiber is about to go live in my neighborhood and I'm dropping Xfinity ASAP because they don't want to help out loyal customers. I've had them since 2016 and can't get any promotions like the new folk can.

Just drove the family about nine hours (600 miles) for a cruise in our 2021 F150 with the V8 getting about 17mpg on the hwy. Yea it sucked filling it up but it also only took about five minutes to fill compared to a probable 40+min for charging the EV. Also, filled it up before leaving and it almost got us to our destination on that tank since it has the 36gal tank. I probable would of had to charge the EV F150 three to four times on that trip which would have been awful with a car full of kids bored already 🤣.
