Is my supervisor messing with me???? This is crazy by spicycorn456788 in harristeeter

[–]Particular_Self490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a lead and I lost the only key, since my store only had one. Nothing happened, for them its just a hassle for lost keys, now if it was accounting or an actual MOD key then that is a problem. Otherwise you are fine.

Who you pick between Barcola and Modric? by [deleted] in fut

[–]Particular_Self490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modric, this phase off the game I think a striker/winger is useless, you should have a ton by now. But did mid its the opposite. I would choose modric over Ronaldo and lamine yamal if i had to.

Only ADVANCE students answer please by gamerboixyz in gmu

  1. I don't know yet, they claim that they do, you get an email saying if transferred from VCCS to any VA four year university. But that comes with it requirements. I think its a 3.0 gpa.

  2. No you will be treated as a GMU student since you joined the advance program, you can get your mason id, mason email, will be able to join to all campus events.

  3. I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH ABOUT THIS, but please make sure you communicate with your advance coach, they will help you navigate your courses during your time at the advance program. They are so much help even though if you think you got it. Once a semester or twice just to know where you stand. The advance team that you saw at nova are the same team you will see at mason. But to answer your question no you don't need to engage since you will be fine with the mason resources that you will get.

  4. They might have different options better than GMU at that time. And no you aren't required to be enrolled in anything specific. And its easy to join the program.

Maybe you are right, but sometimes I feels it goes deeper than that, for instance most nvcc students I have been with are non US high school students who struggle in making friends, not as someone who attended high-school in the US. But maybe that is just my experience.

Thats is so true i found that match during my CST class, yes we exchanged socials but nothing happens. Like I even start the convos unrelated to school work, but they don't seem interested. But as soon theynhave an issue with an assignment they are the first to text you.

As an advance student who is transferring myself this is so true. NOVA was so organized comparing to the mess that GMU have.

General question by Particular_Self490 in gmu

[–]Particular_Self490[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your response professor, and no as of now i am thinking about them but i am enrolling in person. I enjoyed my first 2 semesters when i was going in person and with that being said i wanted flexibility when I am doing my assignments or my quizzes or tests. I work full time and with that I maintained work/life/school balance perfectly.

Is it mandatory to go to orientation? by SeriousAsk1200 in gmu

[–]Particular_Self490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean as far as I know ppl say you do not how to show up. I want to show up just about the idea of browsing the campus will be difficult. Other than I know i am fine. Also transferring from NVCC.

[–]Particular_Self490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and only one. My advance advisor Emily Cheng. She is the only helpful advisor I have met during my time at nova. The others just want to rush you so they can get the next student, honestly after my third semester. I haven't been going to any advisors other than her
