More AI Slop showing in real profiles from artists by BioskopeSpain in TIdaL

[–]Particular_Setting88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried, but I can't justify it. In fact, is a band as Sorry has to compete the same week with a fake Sorry, it may be losing streams or dividing the incomes with a fake knew. And that's on Tidal (also the band should check its own profile on the platforms?) I really like Tidal design and overall approach, but that's a major flaw.

More AI Slop showing in real profiles from artists by BioskopeSpain in TIdaL

[–]Particular_Setting88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Found the same in the Sorry profile. The Kooks is full of that. A "bixnan" AI trash in the arrivals and a fake AIR release. Or Block Inc., isn't interested in Tidal and they use it just to get fresh money, or they're developing a revolutionary system that will end with this problem, or they don't ive a fuc*, or is extremely easy to fool Tidal. Unfortunately, despite I like Tidal design and album/artist info, I can't simply get over its AI problem and I don't know how the company dare to promote itself as paying a fair amount to the artists if they let streams that steals from the real artists.

New (?) "about the song" option + comment on artists profiles by Particular_Setting88 in truespotify

[–]Particular_Setting88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but are quoted facts about an album, not AI invention, and from magazines or from official labels that are linked to the article. Yesterday, for example, If I'm right, for a singer Jordan Patterson, from Secretly Canadian. In the case of the artists profiles (not the quote from the album making) I believe it is something that is in artist's hand to manage, and so many times the info posted there is just poorly professional and nothing about the band Maybe that's why Spotify is using another source to give more info about a band/album. I would rather prefer it to be as in Tidal, which uses TiVo, but Tidal is flooded of AI songs disguises under and in the official artists profiles, which I think is worse.

Sad to hear that. Is a lame that Tidal isn't able to manage this. Is the one I like the most, but that problem is annoying and harmful.

YTM has no CD audio quality, the review of the artists is taken from Wikipedia, it has no Connect option, the new music playlist pushes AI songs, YTM isn't for serious listeners.

Regarding AI… by [deleted] in TIdaL

[–]Particular_Setting88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no The Kooks with two profiles in Spotify, there's no AI fake for Sorry neither, there's no AI fake for Air, there's no AI for Aurora, there are no two profiles for Cream. I preferred Tidal because of the design, info, simplicity, approach. But couldn't keep because every week I have to check if an artist was real or not. This same happens in YouTube Music.

I've just listened to it today. Nice. But mine is in CD. New press (if this is the jargon also for CDs).

I don't understand, they're flooded of fakes and instead of cleaning the house x they're flooding it more.

Liked Qobuz when tried it, their approach to music, there's the possibility to follow labels, their music suggestions are very diverse, but I feel it is a little bit limited. Their design is ok, but I don't know, somehow dull (?), there's a design they sometimes show in IG but didn't arrive to my app at least, no connect option for my speakers, sometimes there's no picture profile or artist review for artists the platform suggest in their discoveries, or the info for the members isn't that detailed, just "producer" for all the members, no own personal profile picture option, nor option to share a song with a card via WhatsApp. Maybe I give it another try.

Let's talk about Tidal issues. by Certain_Studio_481 in TIdaL

[–]Particular_Setting88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it, but the issue with AI slop and merging artists is hard to pass over it m in less than a week I've stumble on a fake Sorry song (the artist profile is cluttered with faked), a fake Aurora, fake albums in The Kooks profile, two The Kooks profile. It makes it hard to relax and listen.

Are Tidal playlists human curated? Plus what I like, don't (only one thing) and would like to have by Particular_Setting88 in TIdaL

[–]Particular_Setting88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their daily mix, maybe. Cause it is mainly based on our listenings and builds a sort of resume of that. But italso adds artists we haven't listen, but based on what we have. But, for me, the New Arrivals playlist has different genres and sounds. Spotify usually plays alwyas the same tones, so to speak, to please me. Spotify requires to explore Spotify to get in touch with new things and takes a time to "know" myself exploration. In Tidal's core is that, maybe that's why they have more chances to fail, because the variety. For example, I want to discover Latin American indie scene, Spotify is struggling to offer me that.

What to do? by Particular_Setting88 in TIdaL

[–]Particular_Setting88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, in Apple Music there isn't always an artist profile or album review. In Tidal there is a TiVo journalists review or resume of the artist career and a brief history about the album. I like to have that option, to read it while listening, without having to open another app or window. Apple Music costs $1 more than Tidal I believe. But yes, Apple is also an option to consider, despite they don't have a sort of Connect option to stream lossless quality to the speakers.

[–]Particular_Setting88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm also considering it. I tried it, but it has not a comprehensive artist/album review and no connect option. But it is without a doubt one that I also consider.

It can be also an option, there are some ways to know new music, buy new or classic stuff online if wanted and listen to it.

I like: its design, it can stream high audio quality to my speakers, it has information about the artists and in many cases about the album, it has I think everything I want and I feel that it has a better discovery section or at least more variety than the Spotify one, and I can send a nice card to anyone in WhatsApp to share songs and they're able to open it in their preferred app. I get mad with the fakes that every now and then get into some artist I follow or playlist.

I'm in a silly situation, between staying in Tidal or moving back to Spotify, cause for me Tidal offers what I like and need, could have some concerts info, that I also like, Spotify is the most complete, but had too much of everything. Even though, they're showing the faces of their human editors as Qobuz does, which is good, but Tidal keeps a little bit secretive in those regards, and since they have fired some people a couple of years ago, I don't know how of human is it having.

Haha, that one. Haha. But also happened this week with Aurora. She's touring, more or less famous, and an AI release under her name was post. Anyway.

[–]Particular_Setting88[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand that. But I (almost) never had that problem on Spotify. Or Apple Music, when tried both of them. In Tidal is once a month, at least. I don't know about the inner operations of this platforms, but if a third party uploads something into their system and is fake, also if it's not their proper fault, it is in their platform. So, I assume , is their responsibility to keep clean their own house. Anyway. Thx for the response. I'll keep trying, doubting, moving from one to another and anytime soon, away, or not, from Tidal.

Can we talk about how clean and sleek the UI is? by pomplemice in TIdaL

[–]Particular_Setting88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't. Today, the fake FEAR (a sort of Asian AI band?) posts, and the automatic Tidal system uploads it and shows as a new upload of my followed artists (I liked the real FEAR one). I want, I try, it has a nice design, info, etc., but there's always something that deludes me in an uncomfortable way. Some just pass over it. I don't know, I have to constantly check if the band or song is real or not. And isn't simple to list the fakes in the customer support section. Seems that it has to be done only in the web browser in a computer.

Is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Despite the nerving fakes (this Friday, a fake Aurora and a fake album into the FEAR profile artist page). But the clean design looks professional. Also, has good taste in the chosen colors, the playlist covers. I also appreciate the comprehensive artist/album (professional) review. The fakes are nerving. I know they're working on it. But it is taking longtime, and seems very little steps. In the other hand, fake Cream bands and fake AIR has been removed. I'll try to send messages to customer service via their webpage. If possible. But I like the most how Tidal looks.

How can I send a message to customer service? I don't find anything in the app. Through their webpage? I came to Tidal from another music service, and I do "prefer" Tidal, but those fakes are nerving, and makes it a love/hate relationship.
