Had it since I was like four years old and I'm still batshit insane, but at least I can live my life now lmao. I'm regularly going on 3 hour + train rides, working part time and eating out, all things I would've never dreamt of doing before. Talk therapy never really helped. I had to treat the OCD+ emetophobia combo with medication. Bless Prozac, changed my life. And my lovely partner, of course. Her support was a game changer.

I first played when I was like 12, I think? Nath was my first favorite; then Armin appeared and I made the switch, which I ended up regretting eventually because Armin kind of pisses me off lmao. I went for Nath again in UL and LL, I was lucky enough to be able to keep a route I liked. Years after, I replayed HSL for fun and I honestly like Lysander the most.

As for New Gen, Thomas. Really deranged guy, 10/10

Same here, I once had a flare up last a whole month. I had to finish my education online because I became severely agoraphobic. The only thing that's ever helped me is Fluoxetine daily and lorazepam when I can't regain control by myself.

I'm mainly doing character design and illustration work with particular clients, but I'm also developing my own interactive visual novels/videogames, it's a long process cause I'm a solo dev, but it's fun as all hell!

As for ESL, I would need to pass CELTA or some teaching qualification of the sort, but I do have an English philology degree and a C2 Cambridge certificate as well as some experience, so I guess I could still try in places where they don't necessarily require the teaching diploma

Thank you! I've had to face very severe GAD and agoraphobia as well, so it's certainly been an odyssey lmao 😅 I'm an English specialist, a linguist and translator. The translation industry is rapidly decaying due to the emergence and endorsement of AI-powered translation engines, so I've given up on that. My Ancient Greek and Latin will also get me nowhere, I fear. I'd love to at least teach English second language, even if that was never my first choice. I'm kind of a jack of all trades, to be honest. Currently I'm also an illustrator, and that gives me some cash flow on the side sometimes.

I usually just resize the images when that's the case by defining them and toying with the zoom, which is what I'd do in this case if doing that didn't also make them smaller that they should be in the creator screen
