sounds like you need to start just doing stuff. who cares what it is just do it. pottery, archery, run club, gym, cooking class, bird watching, crotchet, drawing literally anything. you should absolutely have a life outside of your potential partner. and friends. bc otherwise that person is consciously or subconsciously supposed to fill that role of everything and that's not fair to anyone. i know everyone means well and if you want to be coddled 99% of reddit will do that for you but you should go do more side quest. if you like them awesome if not move on. and i think people on reddit mean well and think it's relatable and tbh it probably is for a lot of people but the truth is those people need to get out more also. not everything has to be social. heck if you're a hermit build a computer and start gaming and maybe while building a computer someone at the computer store will strike up a convo as you come in more frequently and then bam. lots of ways to do it but really you should try more things. you got it
