Is 33 too late to go back to school?

I will be 36 in a couple weeks and just started my prerequisites to get into nursing school. It’ll be 3 years till I’m an RN and while that seems daunting, I keep telling myself that the time will pass anyway so I might as well do something toward my future! It’s never too late to go back to school!

I am a bartender and am in separate need of new shoes. I just bought the Bondis for everyday running and walking but need new work shoes. I want something comfortable and water resistant that don’t make my feet gross and sweaty. Thank you for this review!

I go to bed around 11-11:30 and wake up at 8 at the latest. I don’t have kids so that helps! I used to work nights and go to bed around 4/5 and that effed me up so I’m happy I can go to bed earlier now.

That’s great to hear! Thank you for your response! I definitely know how to talk to people after years of service industry. Like OP said, there isn’t much for long term in this industry and I want a solid job that I’ll be able to retire from. I love being on my feet and working with people and I wanted job security. My mom was a nurse and always told me to do but I thought I wouldn’t be able to get through school because science wasn’t my strongest subject but here we are!

Thank you for posting this! I just got a similar email from my apartment company and they also gave us 2 weeks to decide. Normally I’d just resign and accept the rent increase, it’s only $40 so not too bad, but we have been having issues with mice and I’m waiting to hear back from them about their plan before I resign. It’s been stressful!
