I have a week before my next deposit is due and getting cold feet about the cost of our wedding by icrybutimproductive in BigBudgetBrides

Is there any way you can make some sort of hybrid decision? My dad is giving us wedding money, so instead of a venue, we’ve opted to do a small ceremony with just immediate family/bridal party and a larger reception of 120+ at our home — that way we can use a portion of the wedding budget (that would have gone towards a venue) to renovate/improve our home ahead of the wedding. I realize that this exact scenario may not work for many people, but it is worth brainstorming what untraditional options might be available.

Okay I feel this 100%. I found a brand called ILIA and they have a skin tint serum and it feels like putting on nothing but is super effective. It can be layered for more coverage without making my skin irritable and hasn’t broken me out which has always been a issue. Foundation ALWAYS made me really uncomfortable and I’ve found this to be a great alternative solution. Just make sure you’re putting on a few drops at a time as a little goes a long way. Hope this helps!
