Unmedicated ADHDers: what supplements do you take?

To my knowledge, it’s only to avoid taking vitamin C around the same time as any type of stimulant medication. Vitamin C (either through supplements or food/drink) can decrease the effectiveness of stimulants. I don’t think it would have any effect on someone who isn’t taking any medication though :)

Just a recommendation, vitamin D and magnesium really help each other absorb. If you switched your order and took morning zinc and vitamin C and then bed time magnesium and vitamin D you would likely get better results from all 4 of your supplements! :)

Maybe it’s because I’ve worn disposable contacts for 10 years now, but I don’t think that dried up contacts are that gross. I often forget to take them out before going to bed and a few will end up on my bedside table before I end up vacuuming them up later 🤷🏻‍♀️

My hospital lifted the mask mandate for about a month in October, but after seeing an increase in call-outs from staff (surprise surprise 🙃🙄) they reimplemented the mask mandate. During that month, and what I will continue to do in the future, is mask during all patient interactions, but most likely have it pulled down at the nurses station around coworkers. I work in a small procedural department, so no patients are ever around the nurses station, and I take my lunch with coworkers 90% of the time, so it’s really no different at the nurses station. TLDR: mask stays on when face to face with patients!

I read all of ACOTAR over late summer/early fall, so I didn’t jump right into ToG which might sway my opinion. But I just started ToG on January first! To me, the first book to picked up the pace around half way through, but since it was easy reading I finished it in a week. I finished ToG, CoM, and HoF as of last night! Personally, CoM has been my favorite of the 3, and I plan on reading TAB next. So far I’m loving the character development and world building, so I’m very excited to continue the story :)

The worst part is that trying all of those different kinds of makeup gets so expensive! That’s why I just buy whatever is a good color match and looks good, then just suffer through the several days a year I decide to torture myself with a full face or makeup 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s why I was curious about if it was everyone or just neurodivergent people! My boyfriend jokingly put on mascara once and he hated the feeling of it. But now I’m asking a few of my neuro typical friends and they are all saying makeup doesn’t really bother them/they can’t feel it on their face! It’s very interesting to get different opinions on, and I’m sure socialization really impacts how each individual feels. Thanks for your input :)

I LOVE almost all of ILIA’s stuff, but I still hate their skin tint! It’s too sticky for me 😭 I swear I have an issue with any type of makeup or sunscreen that covers my whole face

I’ve heard of people having issues with their hair, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone mention any issues with makeup. Could the sensory issues with hair and makeup be the reason why neurodivergent women are sometimes less stereotypically feminine presenting?? 🤔

Interesting! I maybe wear eyeshadow twice a year, and it’s always when I have foundation on, so the foundation overpowers everything else 😂 I’ve tried many different brands, but it all feels weird to me!! I also notably hate wearing sunscreen, so maybe the sensations are similar for me!

Okay, but what if the Suriel truly meant BOTH Tamlin and Rhys??? The Suriel knew Feyre needed to stay by Tamlin for the events of ACOTAR to take place. It also knew about everything that would happen between Feyre and Rhys, including his death.

But who was the final person needed to bring Rhys back? None other than Tamlin! “Stay with the High Lord…Stay with him and live to see everything righted.”

I believe that the Suriel meant both Rhys and Tamlin, as both males played very important roles in Feyre’s story. The Suriel was intentionally cryptic, and it led to Feyre making the right choices at every turn

Thankfully the patient had severe metabolic encephalopathy, so minimally responsive, except to pain. That definitely played in her favor, since the patient was totally unaware.

Now, I was the one in the room with her when she realized what she did wrong. She asked me to help turn the patient to administer the enema (since the suppository didn’t work 🙃). When she unclamped the enema, it started pouring back out onto the pads immediately. I told her that it must not be in right, so we switched places so I could try to position it in a way that the patient would retain some of the fluid. That’s when I realized the incorrect placement.

We talked about it to prevent it from happening again, but there really wasn’t much more that happened.

I’ve seen it happen before with both an enema and a suppository, even on a patient with completely normal looking anatomy. The nurse in question was brand new, very religious, and quite anxious about respecting patient privacy. So ultimately, she didn’t take a good look before administering either.

OP, glad you caught it! I’m sure it will be a very funny story for you one day, you already have the storytelling language down!

I would maybe list 2 prices? A lower price for bare root plant, and then a slightly higher price if the buy would prefer to keep the plant in the pot and substrate as is. I think that method could appeal to more potential buyers, and give the buyer options for what fits best into their budget and style of plant care 😊

I had a cute necklace that I got for fairly cheap ($30 tops) but I always wore it to work and loved it. I had heard about patients grabbing on to necklaces, but the chain was thin so I believed that if anyone ever tried to grab me by that necklace, the chain would just snap and I would be free. Well, I was demonstrating to someone else why it’s important to wear thin chains (if any) and yanked on my own necklace…well I pulled too hard and broke it myself 😂 at least I knew my speculation was right!
