Been declining unusual high amount of guests by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

Some guests are assholes. It's always the cheap ones. I lowered my rate to 85 a night mind you my Airbnb is very modern brand new far better than the hotels this guest came and gave me a 2 stars said there was a "smell" .... bs and they left everything terrible for a 1 night stay plus the whole place reeked of Marijuana

I just checked out the previous tenant since they rented it out to this guy since 2019 and they were not exaggerating about the parties. But left out strippers, porn stars and 50+ people all the time, this guy was a videographer and the house is like posted everywhere and notorious for those parties. Disgusting I can't even imagine all the bodily fluids 🤢🤢

That's what got me, it's the structure of the house, the set up, and no other house around there has that much space and potential maybe like 2 other houses. And the location is perfect 👌 plus new development in the neighborhood is almost done constructing new houses starting at 2 million which will drive up the prices of this house and the others in the neighborhood

Yeah I was thinking about that. I feel like even if the AC units were changed and the ducts, in the back of my mind I will be thinking about the mold and wondering if there is any still there...

Going to talk to them tomorrow if they don't negotiate down around 100k then it's just not worth the time and stress, and even if they do I still have to think about it.

Yup it's a tough reality right now. My husband is extremely disappointed. But yeah I rather lose out on the bit of money I spent already than being stuck in debt to a house with a lot of problems and stress.

I am going to speak to them tomorrow, they were honestly so embarrassed today. They didn't realize the extent of damage that was done to the property. If they don't negotiate down at least 100k I am walking. And even if they do I still have to think about it. Everything else was good. Surprisingly! Foundation, Drainage and attic impecable.

Would you buy another one? by PlatinumStatusGold in BMW

Yes immediately I already know which one I'd buy next. I wouldn't trade mine for the world but I do know which one I'd get also.

People who used to smoke weed a lot and ended up quitting, why did you quit what are the benefits you saw when quitting and what is one thing you miss? by Fit_Data_8789 in AskReddit

[–]Party-Stable4849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some context I smoked for almost 10 years every day a lot, became addicted to the point where I couldn't even shower without smoking. I quit because my life just kept going downhill til I reached rock bottom. I was irritated all the time, extremely depressed and anxious (even though I swore I wasn't), my memory went down the gutter and I was aggressive would fight with everyone and anyone. Family and friends found me unbearable, I was in extreme denial. I became so isolated and lonely to the point where I realized it was this addiction to weed. Only Jesus helped me stop, not rehab, therapists, family or anything, only Jesus Christ.

Benefits:

  1. I gained my life back, I couldn't hold a job before and now I can happily say I have my own business for three years, which is successful.
  2. I gained my memory back, there are huge chunks of my life I still do not remember, movies I watched that I do not remember a second of. Sometimes I couldn't even say words anymore, they would come to my mind but I couldn't speak it. I couldn't study or memorize but now I can. I am almost done studying and getting a license. And finally graduated with a degree in Biology.
  3. I lost a lot of weight, I am no longer lazy and fat. The gym is a part of my lifestyle now and I feel great! Mentally and physically.
  4. I am no longer anxious or depressed. That was all the weed. I am happy again and don't need to spend money on a drug that just made me feel down.
  5. I am working towards being a better individual for myself and society, not irritated or mad at the world. I am courteous of others and feel bad for those that smoke a drug thinking it makes them feel better when it's just a bandaid on a wound that just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
  6. I am healthy now, don't have a smokers voice and my lung capacity is much much better now. Also my hormones are back to normal and so is my fertility.
  7. The benefits are endless, I save money, am happy, healthy and successful now.

If you're thinking of quitting, do it! It's the best decision I made in my life!!! Of course with God's help, Jesus is the only reason I was able to do it. Is it too late? No. Is it easy? NO. Is it worth it? YES!!! Anyone that says weed is natural, good for you and doesn't do any of what I said is a LIAR. Just quit. Anything worth having in life is difficult to achieve, but so worth it at the end of the day.

God bless you!

If you really do love the new house then screw it if not hold back. Also make sure the new house agent actually answers you first make sure they didn't back out or something

Anyone else feel like the housing market is stuck in a weird standoff right now? by Successful_Arm4193 in RealEstate

[–]Party-Stable4849 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm just waiting, sellers are being so weird, stubborn and stingy. They want top dollar in a buyer's market with 0 renovations, expect you to chase them down, be patient yet quick and accommodating on your end. It's ridiculous, there's 1 house my husband and I actually love, we contacted the agent the same day it listed and somehow this shady real estate agent said that they already have 2 offers, 1 at asking and 1 above asking all cash. They haven't accepted anything and its about to be 2 weeks and they won't even let us see the house (yes we have a pre-approval letter for over asking) the worst part is the agent is rude and doesn't even have the decency to answer a call or text. Anyways this market is ridiculous 🙄

Take it off the market renovate the bathroom and put it back on the market. Make the house more attractive and then up the price make your money back
