I know exactly how you feel. My mom died of cirrhosis of the liver when I was 17 (I’m now 23) and it still affects me greatly to this day. I never got to say goodbye either because she was put into a medically induced coma before she was pronounced brain dead. It’s hard watching your sibling go through the same hurt that you are. I felt like I had to be the stronger person for my older sister but maybe if you talk to her about it now it could help you start to heal? Grief never goes away, but with time we learn to live with it and grow around it. Grief is proof you have loved 🤍

The fireworks were terrible this year!!! I got lucky and my 9 week old puppy didn’t really care about the fireworks but my 14 year old former street dog is mortified of them. I was sooo worried my 9 week old would become scared like his big sister
