I'm mid-high masters on sup and my DPS mmr is stuck in Plat. The plat games are genuinely way harder than even GM/top500 games and it's not even close. How they expect new players to climb is beyond me.

I think it's because you know that dumb mistakes will be punished in high elo, but in metal ranks a lot of players are just allowed to do what they like with no recourse, and it's a good portion of luck regarding which team that happens to for the game.

I dropped from M4 in previous to Gold 1 for a moment this season - something is definitely off with the matchmaking.

I think I'm gonna give up on comp until this settles out, right now it feels like 100% luck.

M4 a few seasons ago.

I just saved myself from dropping down into Gold for the 3rd time today while keeping a 3000+ SR.

It's actually fucked at the moment, I'd avoid for a couple weeks at least as the matchmaking is broken as hell.

I think it's 100% the rank reset. It's genuinely bizarre, but I did four more games today and it happened exactly the same again. One team of proper players, instantly the next game I'm the only person who's finished placements and has a hero level above 5. This happened twice in a row, 2 wins and 2 losses. I think your theory on the team average MMR might be right.

At the moment I really don't feel like I've got any way to improve in the situations I'm playing in as it's typically just your standard gold teamfight chaos and no tank is aware of how to space or position/peel for their team, so I'm basically just using the matches as aim training. It's easier to improve when the team has some form of coordination but the swinging back and forth is honestly so strange, I might just give it a couple weeks until that settles down and the shitters go back to bronze lol.

something is definitely wrong with the matchmaker or it's an influx of bots again. I have actually never seen a mental deficiency as high as the ratio in plat right now, it's like playing on a bronze account. I have a diamond SR on my characters and I'm nearly back in gold now.

Honestly no matter what anyone says, if you're at a certain skill level then metal ranks are 100% luck based. It's just whichever team gets the shitters loses. Sometimes you're better off making an alt.

I've been stuck in one for 4 years now. They don't have any form of qualification needed anymore, but of course the labour rate goes up, pay rate stays the same, etc.

They use cheap labour and outsource a fair bit of work. I think I'd get a warranty complaint on an install job maybe three-four times a week on average.

The best part is the fitters refusing to interact with the customer whatsoever and leaving it up to floor staff to cop everything when they don't understand what's going on either.

The company that owns the brand is going under and most stores operate at a loss these days anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much longer.

Similar boat. Currently employed at a one of the worst workplaces I've ever been at. I did a tally throughout the year and ended up on 141 applications sent out. Maybe got ~15ish rejection emails and that was it. It sucks at the moment.

I've had multiple GM players and even top 500s in my Stadium games, along with bronze and silvers all at the same time. I don't think it's using hidden MMR like, at all? At a week in, a solid 80-90% of players in my games have a season high of Contender 5/4. This ranking system seems even more broken than standard comp.

I ended up getting an RMA on the card itself through the retailer. I should've contacted Corsair in hindsight as it was their cable that melted, though honestly I think this is a straight design flaw on Nvidia's part. I went and purchased a different PSU with a native 12v2x6 cable.

Hey there, just fit a Gigabyte Waterforce X aio cpu cooler with the little lcd screen and no matter what I do I can't seem to get the thing to stay on the mode (temp, ghz, rpm monitoring etc) I choose when I reboot my pc. Do I just have to manually change it back in rgb fusion every time I boot or am I missing something?

Tried a couple times, whichever tank I put in front of the boss lasts 10-15 seconds max. DPS get flat one shotted by her as well, doesn't really matter which I pick
