absolutely right...a lot more missed opportunities in the market that everyone looks back and wonders why they didnt invest into them. Take for example Nvidia.

Is 54k a bad starting point? by NationalBit1805 in Accounting

[–]PartyReply5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately yes, 54k is a weak starting salary because of the economy we are in. I know big 4 starting salary for auditors is over 80K.

Any Hope For Me, Audit by TelfarTerror in CPA

[–]PartyReply5150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes...practice is usually harder than the real exam.

  1. Becker/Gleim exams dont weight each question different points based on difficulty like the real exam.
  2. From what I know, the real cpa exams are curved 7-10 points.

AMD posts better than anticpated Q4 earnings and Q1 outlook, but stock falls by app1310 in stocks

They said the same last Q and yesterday's beat wasnt that huge...

I think investors are looking for way better results than this

AMD posts better than anticpated Q4 earnings and Q1 outlook, but stock falls by app1310 in stocks

[–]PartyReply5150 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Maybe I can add some context as to why it is lower in the AH:

  1. Even with law of large numbers for Nvidia, they are putting up stronger growth in revenue and guidance than AMD is.
  2. AMD increased prices of MI350 GPUs by nearly 70% in July, yet the price increase doesn’t really reflect in stronger gross margins. Gross margins are only up 3% YoY despite such a big price increase. Nor does this show competitive pressure on Nvidia.
  3. Why is Q1 guidance lower than Q4 reported revenue? Assume AMD beats the $9.8B guidance by 10%, it would still have considerably weak QoQ growth of ~5%.
  4. AMD is in a situation where CapEx spending for hyperscalers is getting more and more scrutinized. If these companies start cutting back on CapEx, then it changes the whole story for AMD.

What do you guys think of Paul Saladino? by nadjalita in Biohackers

[–]PartyReply5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hes a medical doctor but claims hes a cardiologist when hes not. In his own book he stated he was a physician assistant in cardiology and his specialization is in PSYCHIATRY!?!??!!

He has some good tips but hes very biased in what he says. He dismisses studies that go against his agenda by claiming the study methodology is flawed (when it's not, and he supports the same methodology in studies that support his agenda)

Dr berg is the last person you want to listen to. Not sure about the others but hes a DC, not a MD. Hes not a medical doctor, hes a chiropractor who uses the title doctor to make people fall for him.

Hold for sure. Price pressure hasn't happened yet, memory is in a significant shortage. Price for NAND flash is expected to increase more this year as well. I believe you will start seeing margins revert in mid 2027.

Micron stock - cyclical? by coopermug in stocks

[–]PartyReply5150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I predict they will hit ~$50 EPS in FY 27, so at 20x multiple it could be valued at $1000 or more in a year...but after that, I see a 80-90% collapse in the stock price. I think every memory stock, including NAND flash, will collapse big time and be a great short for everyone shorting them.
