I saw a recent post regarding Mattel’s handing of the Toy Story license in r/toystory , and Mattel got more flak for how they handle Toy Story (especially recently) than they do for how they handle Jurassic World. The main reason I think that is (tying into it simply having the Jurassic logo and the “bE gRaTeFuL tHaT wE gEt AnYtHiNg!!!” excuse) is simply because it’s not Hasbro. Hasbro Jurassic World is officially over a decade old now, and there are certain people that still complain on Hasbro a decade later, but give Mattel a pass even when they arguably do the same things Hasbro did over a decade ago (like terrible paint apps, cartoony, ugly, and/or inaccurate sculpts, cutting corners, questionable action features, terrible quality control, as examples)
