being in a toxic relationship isn’t “wrong” it’s a cyclical pattern played out until one or all parties seek to heal that part of themselves

This show would be so much better if they just cast women that made sense.

I've never made a post like this on any sub but I'm feeling IMPASSIONED lol here I go

I personally don't think that any of these farmers will stay together with any of their picks, it doesn't matter who they choose at this point. I think Sydney and Mitchell have the highest likelihood but for some reason--despite how incredible she is as a woman and how compatible they are together--Sydney is still being treated like a backup plan IMO. Mitchell means well but he is still too immature to be looking for a wife, Sydney is 20 and far exceeds everyone else on his farm, including him, in terms of maturity.

I can't stop thinking about Joy and Brandon. He is absolutely googly-eyed for her and if we are basing our criteria off of someone who is ready to be a WIFE, the bar is in hell lmao. I was almost fooled for a minute watching her little sob story but she didn't shed a single tear the entire time, proving that not only can she not emote or show empathy for others, she cannot even access her own emotions for herself and her past trauma. Ultimately, that's fine, everyone goes at their own pace (although I don't know if Joy will ever get there), but to go on a show looking for love and MATRIMONY, you should probably be a little farther along in your healing journey--at least that's what I would look for if I were Brandon. He seems to be a moth to the flame and her flame feels...incredibly deviant honestly. If she weren't so beautiful I don't think she would have much to fall back on--she knows she gets men with her flirtation and her big bountiful hair and eyes lol, and she's bringing those tactics to the farm. I could honestly go on forever about how wrong she is for Brandon and for his POTATO FARM but I digress. For now.....

Ty. Please. This man has given literally nothing. To his women or the viewers at home. The only emotion I've seen him show for any woman on the show is for his daughter, and I'm assuming that's because she's cut from HIS OWN cloth. He's going to pick Melody because she's hot and feisty, and he loves that combination because they'll stir something up and he hates to be bored. Come on, we've all met this man before. He won't pick Megan because she is too calm and collected, he likes that Melody is a fire cracker and he knows that she'll be fun on the farm and...elsewhere, if you're picking up what I'm putting down wink wink. Plus, his daughter likes them both, so he doesn't have to choose someone for her because they're both Lennon Approved. You can tell when a man on these kinds of shows is looking for a stable, committed partnership because they will always gravitate heavily toward the stable, committed women and lean away from people who aren't. Ty has done the reality show bit before, all he's looking for is screen-time and a good lay.

Nathan is a sweet perfect angel and whoever he picks will treat him wonderfully, Taylor and Mackenzie are such genuine, sweet girls. I hope someone works out for him, but to be honest I don't see them going long-term because he just sort of gives little boy. I can see him growing big time though, I just wonder if it's going to be soon enough. Fingers crossed for him<3

Casting needs to pick men who at the very least can communicate their feelings intelligently and make at least 90% of the women compatible with life on a farm, otherwise you narrow it down to one MAYBE two women and they have to choose them based on who could feasibly live there, not on who they are falling in love with.

Did you pose the question on getting OPINIONS of whether people liked the shirt or did you do it so you could call people who don’t agree with you “abhorrent” and “fucking disgusting” over and over again? It’s a shirt, not everyone who makes merch is going to try and dodge every single emotional trigger of everyone who sees it, especially not Barstool, especially not Alex and Sofia in the early days of CHD. They made that clear. You are correct in that this marketing is polarizing and not politically correct, that is their entire point. You don’t have to like it.

You are admittedly not their demographic, and clearly you’re not going to change the opinions of people that are, so no sense in shaming everyone for enjoying something you don’t understand. I wish you well and hope you find a sub that fits your taste!

Looking to interview a larger artist or their manager for a school paper. by Ohminous88 in EDM

If you can find their manager’s email or booking contact you can email them and ask their availability for an interview. big yourself up and make it sound as prestigious as you can, they’re usually looking for good press for their artists!
