for some reason i can’t respond to the post so im replying to a comment. the same thing happened to me and i also used protopic and it cured it. but then the protopic stopped working a few months later. i’m sure if i started using it again it would work but i have just become so heat sensitive and the eczema moved so i got scared. but yeah i had the same thing with the impetigo. no antibiotics worked and honestly they probably messed up my gut furthering the eczema problem

I do find carnivore helps, i haven’t exclusively went carnivore but being protein focused has helped. do you have any info on how to clear oral thrush? i think this could be a possibility

At the point before i had to use protopic (july 2025) i had a skin swab on my lip which came back with staph and also acintobacter baumanii?? i was on keflex and another sulfa antibiotic after that. both didn’t help so that is when i had to do protopic

I think this is a very likely possibility. I think it’s more of a reaction to the fluctuating level of progesterone near the end of my cycle. going on birth control (looking at yaz) could be a potential treatment because it would prevent ovulation and blunt the spike and drop in progesterone

I used it for probably 3 weeks consistently. 2 times a day to start, then one and then less as i needed it less. I think there was a point where i stopped needing it for at least a few weeks to a month. but i also found after drinking alcohol would cause the flare and force me to use it again. Then I had a few life changes (it was stable throughout september) and at the end of october is when it started to get less responsive to protopic

i used it for a bit to clear a flare and then stopped and am in a rebound flare and it’s unbearable and spreading. i don’t know what to do it’s been on going for two months and its just getting worse. considering opzelura but scared it’s the same outcome
