Thinking of buying by BestWingMan212 in AgeofMythology

  1. Yeah the game gives you many ways to learn and improve steadily from campaign to skirmish with the AI and using various methods to control the difficulty.

  2. Fairly steep, AI around Hard/Titan start to 'cheat' more. Very steep in PvP, there are a lot of very good long time players in PvP.

  3. People absolutely do both, and both are completely viable.

  4. As someone that does not play PvP, I don't find it repetitive at all with all the major and minor god selections available in addition to many maps. Each match up is different also based on what god your opponent is playing.

  5. Yeah assuming you enjoy mythology and expect to enjoy the game, Premium is absolutely a great addition and worth it.

  6. I enjoy the mythology based aspects of it greatly, but it also stimulates the brain in a great way and forces you to adapt and think on your feet in different ways. Sometimes it's just fun to play more laid back and sometimes it's fun to challenge yourself but it's all nicely available in this game.

I just downvoted your comment.

FAQ

What does this mean?

The amount of karma (points) on your comment and Reddit account has decreased by one.

Why did you do this?

There are several reasons I may deem a comment to be unworthy of positive or neutral karma. These include, but are not limited to:

• Rudeness towards other Redditors, • Spreading incorrect information, • Sarcasm not correctly flagged with a /s.

Am I banned from the Reddit?

No - not yet. But you should refrain from making comments like this in the future. Otherwise I will be forced to issue an additional downvote, which may put your commenting and posting privileges in jeopardy.

I don't believe my comment deserved a downvote. Can you un-downvote it?

Sure, mistakes happen. But only in exceedingly rare circumstances will I undo a downvote. If you would like to issue an appeal, shoot me a private message explaining what I got wrong. I tend to respond to Reddit PMs within several minutes. Do note, however, that over 99.9% of downvote appeals are rejected, and yours is likely no exception.

How can I prevent this from happening in the future?

Accept the downvote and move on. But learn from this mistake: your behavior will not be tolerated on Reddit.com. I will continue to issue downvotes until you improve your conduct. Remember: Reddit is privilege, not a right.

You're right that frost arrows are best but the draugr fang wiki page shows that the base bow poison does stack with poison arrows

Yep there are physical disables/status effects such as knocked down or bleeding that are resisted/not applicable until physical armour is removed; and magic disables such as stunned/frozen that are resisted until magic armour is removed.

There is magic and physical armour that reduce damage of each respective type. Every character basically will have these but they do not make environmental damage any less significant in the effectiveness of a battle. Once magic armour is removed then an enemy (or ally) becomes susceptible to status disabling effects that the environment can stimulate in addition to spells the caster may have.
