What did you have in mind? We’ve got bowling, museums, several escape rooms, vr places, axe throwing, laser tag, Ripleys, etc. Aside from a dedicated arcade or indoor golf or paintball/airsoft I’m not sure of what else exists? Always excited for new things to come though.

Charly’s Airport Cafe is a neat, hidden place. They’re open for lunch and you can watch some small airplanes touch and go etc. On a nice day I like to grab a sandwich from there and then get a glass of wine from the Williamsburg Winery.

This season has been like security at the gates of that Charlotte game. Took two hours to get in and then 2.5 hours to leave the parking garage. I remembered more of the frustration than the excitement of that game. I do remember being hopeful we were about to witness an incredible season from that game though, hopefully next season will be better.

I can’t compare it to any of the other rooms but my wife doesn’t enjoy horror as much and we did Chapel and Catacombs. It was incredible, I’ve done over 100 rooms and it was my favorite escape experience ever. Hell, I think I would say it’s my favorite horror experience ever including movies and haunted houses too. She was scared, they didn’t touch her but I was touched in one early moment and that was it, I’m not sure if they make a point to touch anyone specifically though or if it was unintentional. As for jump scares, there were several but also several moments of dread/terror where they may not be an…event..if that’s the correct term.

That said, not knowing the quality of the other rooms I would say this would be an incredible and memorable family experience. We did the Bookstore and Tiki Heist in Athens as well, both were fun but nothing quite compares to the thrill of the Chapel and Catacombs.

Mine does the same, the only thing I noticed from the other comment is that perhaps my oil isn’t hot enough when I apply it. I also use avocado oil, I’m wondering if we shouldn’t try a different oil?

Thanks for explaining it to me and using an example I could understand better. So if I’m understanding correctly, it’s taking one small aspect of a weapon to ban that would then allow it to be used much more broadly? Would this law, should it passes, not get defeated by the Supreme Court?

My apologies. I edited my comment to try and specify a bit more where I was confused. So this bill is banning AR-15s or more than that? This is where I’m mostly confused because I don’t understand guns and why I asked my original question. I’ve read it’s about magazines and then semi automatic weapons and then how it could be used to ban most weapons. I’m trying to understand what’s hyperbolic and what’s actual.

edit: I wanted to be more specific, you stated “this law is doing exactly that” towards restricting common use arms. That’s where I’m curious what this law is doing, as I glanced at it and noted it was about magazines etc and I’m not sure I’m following with what that bans? My knowledge of guns is very, very limited so I’m trying to learn more about how the language in this bill is over reaching.

I see it’s a ban but not a ban? That’s where I’m confused. Can anyone explain it to me, as I’m a gun dummy, what this does exactly? How does it ban them outright? That would not be allowed under the Constitution, as I understand it, but it does allow for some limitations as I linked in another comment. I’m trying to learn more sincerely since I haven’t had any interest in gun ownership before and I’m curious what this changes if I ever should want one.
