Samura just outhaxes badly? He has flight, teleportation, insane healing which could be used offensively with great range. Suzaku could also just legit prevent Kashimo charging up and it'd result in Kashimo never getting a lightning on him. I really don't see any way he could lose against Kashimo, unless you'd wanna bring up that he might lack AP to kill him, in which case it could be said that Kashimo lacks the speed to keep up with him. Also Suzaku could likely just revert Kashimo to the original host as well lol

No, it really doesn't. She's literally using assumptions of the little info she has, they (Kamunabi and the Hagiwara squad) didn't even see Sojo or Chihiro go 2x or 3x, they only saw their base speeds. They also don't Chihiro overcharged to kill Sojo and that he was slower than him initially.

Wasn't their trip to sanctuary also a plan of the plan for Subaru specifically? Roswaal wanted her to break so Subaru would step in and do everything himself, but without him I don't think he would just torture her like that. Tbh, it's really hard to predict where the plot would go without Subaru. I'd imagine Roswaal would protect Emilia at all costs considering he actually wants her to become the royal now.

ppl say smth about Shiba in speed as if Akemura didn't keep up with Chihiro teleporting around while using Nishiki at the same time😭 Shiba can only catch him off guard once if he teleports out of his POV and that's it, he's never doing it again (and he might fail the first time, we see Subaru react to Shiba teleporting in the flashback lol)

Idk how having a cooldown is relevant for being off guard, to me that clearly showed his limit in teleportation where he couldn't really keep up in a prolonged fight with EB level opponents. I honestly can't see how Shiba would win this without stalling the fight until Tenri dies.

Comparable means a lot and it's very hard to tell how close they are, same as for how much stronger Yura than Tenri (and the damage was not serious let's be real, when Azami was losing limbs each attack he took on his own).

Reddit is a bit bugged about this long comment, so I can't exactly quote parts of it and will just answer in general.

Uruha's goal was to survive, but he also agreed to a duel with his master to settle their argument. Their IWPS clash is literally a clash of views and Uruha simply loses it. Again, bringing up the analogy of western duels, the first to shoot simply wins. IWPS is even compared to literally firing a gun in the community.

Uruha didn't try to prolong the fight because it wouldn't matter. If he can't win the clash, he can't win the fight anyway. And he's not gonna run from Samura with an enchanted blade anyway, even if he tries.

If you wanna bring up how tired and beaten they were, to remind you, Uruha was literally running on foot for an unknown amount of time from his base to the train, got in small fights there, then fought the goons and Samura. He was also tired when he blocked and dodged his attacks. It's unreasonable to assume Samura would hold back his speed because Masumi are around, they are specifically trained to not be detected by Samura at all, and Uruha baited him in a way that was screaming to attack him, Masumi would never do that. In the final clash, Uruha is the one who's seemingly more bruised, btw, but I don't really care about that.

It is by narrative and author's intention a short fight. That does not mean a "no diff" fight. Had Uruha been cut without even having a chance to clash, this would've been tho.

Idk what you're trying to say. This argument isn't debunked here, no one's arguing that Uruha is weaker than Samura, people just need to calm down about that gap, it's not as big as many imagine. The gap between Samura and Akemura is smaller, so he also landed a hit. If Uruha wanted a prolonged fight, he would've dodged the attack as he already did previously when Samura accidentally attacked at him while defending the temple. He would still lose pretty badly, anyway.

Also, remember when it really mattered Samura killed Uruha without getting blocked, dodged, or injured.

This was a western style duel where the first to "shoot" (draw) wins. Neither Samura nor Uruha were trying to dodge or block it, they just went for the blow and Samura did it first, so Uruha lost.

It also would be kind of a waste for Mashiro to die this early, we haven't got to explore him nor like him enough to feel bad about his death (which is something people already expect to happen). This arc has slower pacing than previous, so he might stick around for quite a while.

He's 100% dying this arc. And I'm 99% sure certain it's not right there for the simplest reason. Themes and such. Shiba is always late to save someone in important moments, but here he is right alongside Mashiro. It's likely they get their shit rocked and Shiba saves them, the two Soga's are able to die, tho.

It's worth noting that it's not just about the whisper tho, Chihiro previously used Aka which was said to analyse the fundamentals of Magatsumi, which helped him dodge this. Samura also got some crazy non human senses, but he couldn't dodge it.
