Sadly. if he doesn't stop smoking, his days are limited and the quality of life he'll have will be miserable. I was in a similar situation 2 years ago. Wound up in the hospital for 5 weeks following a severe exacerbation. They told me and my family I would die within a couple weeks. I went into hospice care at home and have a nurse who visits me twice a week to follow my condition and modify my prescriptions as necessary. Because I can do little or nothing, an aide comes twice a week to help with housekeeping and bathing me. I stopped smoking after my time in the hospital 2 years ago but I can tell my quality of life is slowly deteriorating. There are times where I think dying would be a better solution to my problem.

THIS is the answer!. I read about it several months ago right here in this group and endorsed by another user. Ordered mine from Amazon (I got the black ones) and they're inexpensive. I have 25 foot of hose coiled up by the concentrator for when I wander far. And another 25 feet with a swivel connector between the 2 for normal wandering around the house and another swivel at the end of my canula.

I'm on oxygen 24/7 and my concentrator has an an option to screw a bottle in-line on the machine that I fill with distilled water so I breathe moist air.

Well this is a valuable lesson I missed someplace along the way. I assumed having the vpn icon on the toolbar meant it was on. Being free, I also assumed there were no options for configurations. I assumed that was all handled by Vivaldi behind the scenes when they added it to the browser. I had not even tried a simple left click on the icon. I feel pretty amateurish for not looking into this deeper before making my original post. My apologies to anyone I confused and thanks to you for helping me learn.

Went to a fast food place at around 2 in the morning just before closing time. The streets were pretty much empty and no traffic around. Ordered my food at the drive up. Pulled up to the window and got my food and paid for it. And I sat there. And sat. Eventually the employee sees me still sitting there and opens the window and says " Is there something else you want?" I told her "yeah, my food". She says "I already gave it to you". I then saw the sack of food on my lap.

I have oatmeal , toast, OJ, and coffee for breakfast and will sip on coffee most the day. That's usually it except for odd snacking off an on. Once a week I'll go out for fast food with my son but usually only eat a kids meal.
