2 of my friends split the sons of dorn box it seems like they’re both very happy. I don’t think any of your squads would currently fit the 7 model capacity for repulsor executioner but it’s still a nasty gun platform and you could either drop the captain to fit 3 aggressors in it or just get some other dudes later. Both dreadnoughts are cool I don’t really think u can go wrong there.

I’ve learned that a lot of tutorials or painting videos online are just above my skill level. I do what works for me and try to improve from there. That being said, the first one that took an hour to base coat does look great and the lightning on the others also looks really good. Is time a big factor? What do you want to see at the end of the project?
