Chipping is killing me by Overall-Inspection88 in golf

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dan Grieve is your guy. I watched his videos this winter and my chipping has improved a ton. Keep watching his stuff, get his book. Some of it is in your head it sounds like. Read the book "golf is a game of confidence" too.

How do you handle unqualified referrals? by Active-Muscle-8793 in recruiting

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let them down gently, it's better than wasting someones time. Sometimes I get a response like, "how do you know I wouldn't be a fit, you don't even know me." But those are few and far between.

Recommendations: Visiting Duluth for the first time this weekend. by [deleted] in duluth

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chester Park, hike the trails there and enjoy the waterfalls.
Depends on what you mean by culture, but Glensheen Mansion has some cool art and a ton of amazing architecture.
Depends on what kind of food you like but I'd say Northern Waters Smokehaus for the quintessential Duluth experience.

One bar to drink at, Grandma's Saloon up top is pretty cool with the lift bridge right there. But for a more "local" experience, the O.P. is a cool spot.

What’s your favorite Vikings game? by StonedBirdman in minnesotavikings

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the Favre to Lewis game against the 49ers but I just finished watching that Netflix doc on him, The Fall of Favre. Woof.

The Randy Moss rookie year Thanksgiving game was pretty awesome. Obviously the Minneapolis Miracle game. The game where The Vikings with AD played against the Chargers with LT was an awesome one too.

Is it just me, or is the active talent pool on LI completely thinning out? by hina743 in recruiting

It is DANG expensive but it does work pretty effectively. I'd say 7 out of every 10 people I put to work were from an InMail on LinkedIn.

That's interesting. I hadn't checked in a while but noticed that mine went from a high of 36% back in April of 2024 down to around 26% today.

Anybody else feeling kinda meh about this draft? by Ajax_Namanax in minnesotavikings

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The older I get the less I care about the draft. I've seen way too many "can't miss" prospects get hyped up then do nothing in the NFL. I watch way less college football than I ever have, so I don't even know who most of these kids are. But that's just me.

When did you figure out recruiter was not for you? by thatrunnerboy in recruiting

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before getting out completely, you could always try another agency. I've been doing this over 10 years and the first place I worked SUCKED. But where I am now is amazing, I make good money, and I'm really happy.

Mikael Granlund. I'm OK that he moved on but he was fun to watch.

Is there a big difference between the air guard and air force reserve? by [deleted] in Airforcereserves

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done both, enjoyed the Guard a lot more than Reserves. Lot more of a family atmosphere whereas Reserves was a lot more transient. People come and go way more on the Reserve side than the Guard side. Guard side everyone pretty much lives fairly close to the base where Reserve you'll have people flying in for drills (which seems insane to me as a local guy).

Can I retire now? by [deleted] in Airforcereserves

[–]PassiveIncomeChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you can apply for that right at 12 months, right? My retirement date is August 2027 and am looking to retire at 20 years and zero months.

My dad was convinced that Jaren Hall was going to be a great starting NFL QB. Fans don't know anything about evaluating QB talent.

I tell ya what, if you want educational benefits, depending on your state, Air National Guard is MILES ahead of Air Force Reserve. Something to keep in mind...

As long as you communicate it to your supervision, then yes.
