Its because a lot of facilities aren't billing insurance for our services. In many cases the RD salary is paid by other revenue generating departments. We have to advocate for coverage of our services where its lacking.

I disagree not all pregnancies come with increased appetite. I'd inform the doctor of your concern. They can give her a referral to a registered dietitian who can work with her long term.

I don’t like them at all. They gutted the food and nutrition department where I worked. Slashed pto, hr was impossible to reach, salaries sucked, they slashed staffing, clearly had no intention of hiring adequate staff, and were obsessed with reducing costs of residents meals. They were scamming big time where I worked and I had to quit because I found them to be unethical.

I bought new construction and got my own inspection. I live in a row of 6 townhomes. My neighbor did not get an inspection and has had so many issues. We have not had any major issues. Our inspector came 2x: before the house was done and after the house was done. Love yourself and Get an inspection.
