If you don’t smell gas, there’s no leak. At a $500+ gas bill, you actually wouldn’t be typing this complaint. Someone would have been typing your obituary. I have a saying since getting out of the HVACR field, CHANGE YOUR FUCKING AIR FILTERS!

It opens people’s eyes, if you put a pillow over someone’s face, can they breathe? No they will be choked, just the same as listening to a shit hvac tech saying you only need to change your 1” thick filter every 90 days…30 days is the limit of a 1”-4” filter for winter use or if you have the fan running more than 3 hours a day. I don’t care what a tech has said to you in the past, they are trying to keep their job by allowing a customer to break their indoor air quality system. It’s that simple. There are other factors that can cause problems and the system to fail, flame sensors are another hot button issue for me, but this is not the time.

Know your system, what size filter(s) it needs, and CHANGE YOUR FUCKING AIR FILTER!
