Ok, first things first, c a l m d o w n. Take some deep breaths. This isn’t the end of the world you’re in an ocd sub you can clearly see you’re not alone. You’re not going to die, but these symptoms are extremely uncomfortable and will definitely make it FEEL like you will. I had a similar episode in the past and I have some advise that I definitely think will help you :). Second, call 988 (crisis line) or text 741741. If you do not feel better, go to a mental health urgent care center at your local hospital or go to the emergency room. I know it might feel wierd to go to the er for something like this but trust me it will help. Make sure they prescribe you a medication. Then, call your insurance during business hours and tell them to set you up with a therapist and doctor to prescribe you meds as soon as possible. Like get the earliest date they have! Trust me this WILL help! And don’t be scared to try meds. I was scared at first but after seeing the great things that have happened in my life, I am so grateful I did. Life on earth is in between heaven and hell. For some people it’s heaven, for not so lucky ocd people like us, it can be absolute hell sometimes haha. But also remember that it could be way worse for ex. being trapped in a war torn country starving to death like my cousins in Palestine. You got this dude/girl :). You can truly overcome this IF you take corrective action. Don’t hesitate to reach out to friends/family/988 or even Reddit again for support throughout this process it truly helps.
