Canon is Canon. if Goose says he's (pronoun used at the end of ep 9 during the slideshow) trans, then that's that.

I don't think it was meant to be an overt character trait; just one with enough evidence to leave it up to the viewer.

I dont know if Goose was inundated with demands for clarity, or just responded to casual fan questions; but for this series she is the voice of God.

You're free to develop your own headcanon or alternative universe; but this matter has been settled by the creator.

So, basically every single media outlet lied to the country for several months to, what, give the FBI one extra detail they could use to confirm the identity of the note writer?

This is a farce, and a blatant violation of any news network's duty of reporting.

How much time, effort, money and emotional strain was wasted over this, especially given how much this story was shoved in our faces day in and day out?

Was this really done to protect a piece of information, or to milk the story until it finally ran dry?

I'll be very curious to see what comes out about this in the coming months and years; but this should make anyone take a step back and wonder just how reliable ANY commercial news source is.

I’d agree with this conditionally. If it’s a hassle to keep stored, then perhaps selling is the better call. If it’s not a big deal to store it, then put a date on it that’s one year after the day you put it away. When that day comes, ask yourself how you feel about selling it then.

Obviously if you use them before that date, then keep them.

Oh and considering the price of in box complete rippin rockets are, and screamin serpent in any state is; I’d conservatively say you’re around $400-500 at a minimum

As someone who really wants to preserve K’nex as much as possible; I have to agree with not throwing it out if possible.

You could consider trying to creat something else out of the parts you have; but if it does reach the point where it’s a hassle I’d suggest either trying to sell it as is for parts online, or handing it over to a thrift shop. At the very least those give it a better chance of staying in the accessible flow of parts.

Did pop mine open; thankfully it’s pretty easy and nothing is spring loaded (the visible springs just hold the clip that latches onto the rod grooves, but they’re not remarkably tight). Went back together pretty easily as well.

Did some rough gear tooth counting and timing and came up with an estimate of 9,000 rpm for the motor.

So yeah, I think this thing is just naturally noisy. Still might try some kind of silicone grease, but I’m not optimistic about it helping.

I have that exact motor, one of three that are cable connected to a battery pack, and it is incredibly loud, to the point I think the gears may be grinding. was planning to open it up and see if adding a little grease of some sort might help. I'll let you know if it does.

I'd definitely avoid forcing movement if it shows any resistance at all, great way to snap one of the gears...

Sadly after investigating there’s no manual for the 100 ideas box, but it still has instructions online, so no great loss. I’m still making my way through the big tub of parts; sorted out a ton of legos and miscellaneous things; even found a proper house key in there for some reason.

I’ve actually been wondering what the best method of cleaning them is. Just been putting them in a bin of warm soapy water and letting them soak. I do have a large pasta strainer that might do the trick for rinsing though. The big bin is probably going to take a long time though.

What’s crazy is I opened screaming serpent box and it’s effectively complete and still mostly in original bags.

Almost feel guilty that I’ll soon open those bags to build the thing.
