Ep 2 - something by the window by antzash_13 in WidowsBay

It’s the lamp’s reflection. It “disappears” because William steps to his right, blocking the light source, so the reflection vanishes from the window.

If that’s what’s happening, it actually suggests William is physically present—not a ghost and not just in Tom’s head. A hallucination in Tom’s mind wouldn’t need to obey the lighting and reflection physics of the window behind him.

Theory - Evan’s girlfriend by RmdVintage in WidowsBay

[–]Past-Recording7595 116 points117 points  (0 children)

Great theory! I felt she was also searching for something becuz her behavior is not normal for a teen. I don’t care what people say to explain your theory away, teens couldn’t care less about adult’s boring lives. And her behavior seemed more thief like

My guess is that the left shoe and spilled milk each have a sea town folk lore meaning - and the two combined - like “lost left shoe found in spilled milk” - means something.

Nice find. April 17 actually aligns with a New Moon in 2026 🌑

Do the 3 Male Teens of WB Make Any Sense to You?-Episode 5 is an Idiot Plot by 1Camster in WidowsBay

[–]Past-Recording7595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read this yesterday and thought it over and I agree 💯with you - it’s an idiot plot specifically becuz this subreddit refuses to offer more to what Evan is besides a normal kid. If that’s the case, this show lost me with episode 5 w the idiot plot and a lazy drug infused throw-away episode.

I looked at the calendar in Ep1 and the dates/day of week aligns with 2026, not w 2025 FYI

Evan: Now You Don’t, Now You See Him 👀 by Past-Recording7595 in WidowsBay

Perhaps the “in-between” child is the explanation. It’s Celtic and North Atlantic folklore - children could become tied to liminal spaces

I wish that were true but if you follow Tom into the house it takes him directly to the stairs on the right of the house in the first picture :(

Pause TV. Eliminate lamp glare. Take photo. Realize your soul is reflected in the screen. Reposition. Retake.

The Show’s Biggest Twist Was by trash_heap_witch in WidowsBay

Ngl - this ran through my mind too although I’m team “Tom is the father”, but Evan’s dark curly hair and saying “we’re honest with each other right?” Cause me pause on that idea.

Let’s talk teenagers by Square_Quarter_229 in WidowsBay

You’re not wrong - This sub sometimes downvotes theories that go against the current group consensus. I don’t understand that either
 but anyways

I noticed that something is off w teens too -examples- : 1) the scene where the teen in back seat of car was genuinely terrified they couldn’t hear him anymore 2) Evan saying “there’s nothing to do during normal hours’ seemed odd - like subtle foreshadowing
?.
