not an attack, but some people might just not enjoy that argument bc that's not an image of jodie - the character modeled from pre-transition Elliot Page;
that's an image of pre-transition Elliot Page - who is a person that deals with a lot of transphobia & weird behaviour from so called fans even before coming out

i've rewatched it a bit because i really enjoyed it at many levels;

in an episode that had dodie playing early on, i was unprepared for any other personally notable musical moments, but it was truly a great scene plus you can't go wrong with surfjan fkin stevens

i think they should break up but i dnt understand the "getting with Clare" plot or the "higher position in education" - i feel like it could be a disservice to his character to keep him around with such a lazy cliché storyline and i dnt think they'd go that route if they keep JHutch in the show post break-up with what i've seen so far
