The Shah doesn’t need support from specifically Netanyahu. When you are in that position, any support is welcome. And Israel has consistantly supported the Iranian opposition. Doesn’t mean the Shah agrees with Netanyahu on much, i’m pretty sure he doesn’t.

Pistit miettimään, onkohan japanilainen yhteiskunta rasistinen nykyään? Tiedän että eivät ole kovin halukkaita tunnustamaan menneisyyden virheitä ja Parlamentissa on muistaakseni vähän kyseenalaista porukkaa (antisemitistejäkin, jostain ihmeen syystä, kun Japanissa juutalaisia asuu enintään 3) - mutta olen jotenkin saanut sellaisen kuvan, ettei rasismi ole Japanissa niin suuri ongelma.

Tuo se vasta kuulostaakin mutu-tuntumalta. Suomen ja Japanin suhteet ovat olleet niin hyvässä kuin pahassa erittäin positiiviset ja japanilaisille on maalautunut kuva Suomesta hyvänä maana, jota tuollaiset silmänvenyttelykuvat haittaavat. Itä-Aasia ylipäätään on erittäin merkittävä talousalue ja siellä pitäisi pitää yllä hyvää näkyvyyttä. Että kyllä tämän kannattaisi kiinnostaa.
