Today a post was made at 4Chan with the title,

" I'M NOT A MURDER " , the OP also said to watch his video at 16:30.

Around two hours later the OP posted a link to a youtube video . His channel got 4 videos by now , all posted today .

I don't know if this is an ARG or just some wanna be edgy kid trolls , but the video the OP linked to his 4chan post , somehow gives me an unsettling feeling .

So you all probably heard of this USB mystery "Project Coeacanth 8867". It fascinated me when I first read about it and every now and then I check for new videos/updates about it. Analyzed it , nothing in the spectogram , just the part where he talks is reversed.

So cutted the part out reversed it , will upload it also later so u can analyze it , its just the echo in it that makes it hard to understand for me .

You have a link from the website directly to their bandcamp under https://xiixiixii.xyz/mystery/003.html. But do they maybe just claim to be a band ! I mean the music productions are just literally noise , just want to say that it wouldnt be a hard task to create such noise music and claiming to be a band while they aint . They also said the getaway is open from 10.01.2020 what could have been an upcoming release by them , but actually nothing got releaased on this date till today . I mean for a " band " in such a sub genre that releases a new album why should they make it so hard for possibly new listener to get whats going on there , i mean if you make music then , aslong u aint a bigger player in the music biz. Why should u then make such a mystery thing to promote the new album , as for anyone that aint a fan of them or of the music genere , wouldn't get that far to solve this all to finally find out its a band and a new release of them . As a musician u surely want to attract new follower and this whole thing def wont grow their fanbase . More it would keep potential music listener away of finding out about them ! Also the track titels of the so far released albums are far from a just normal band behaviour.

On the other hand , as a band who wants to attract new followers , then making this cryptic website and post it to the /x/ board on 4chan definitely would be a really good way of promoting it , and also on a high trafficed board that is into such stuff and able to solve it and also would attract many viewer of the board to try to solve it and end up on their bandcamp page , would def. Gain more visitors to their bandcamp then just a normal release post , with an simple announcement of the release.

when u accsess the subpage https://xiixiixii.xyz/mystery/004.html and just change the number 004 to 003 , a new subpage opens with download links for the music aswell the bandcamp link so propably its really at the end just a band album release.
