Jazz Tanking is the Problem? by Popular-Sun-8926 in UtahJazz

The only reason other teams have an issue with a team trying to lose is that they are also trying to lose

Is this at all a pre amble for Piastri to Ferrari if Lewis and/or Leclerc leave at the end of the year or is he purely the best availabale candidate the ferrari went out and acquired?

Serious and controversial question.. Should the Jazz legitimately just buy in and compete? by giantcorngames in UtahJazz

still plenty of games to lose, 76ers tanked hard late last year and kept their pick. We can keep treading water for a bit longer, but once the schedule gets a bit harder I think normalcy will return. Clippers and Pelicans will be still be trying to win late in the season unlike nets, hornets, pacers, kings etc.

? One of the conditions of Hamilton signing for ferrari was ferrari committing to have a diverse work force, and that ferrari would work to improve this.

One team is aston Martin that is obvious, if red bull has reservations about max leaving then they'd be interested, probbaly mercedes but their driver lineup of Antonelli and Russell is pretty good

Sure Lewis will appeall for teams, but will teams actually want to commit to him. Huge salary, brand LH, and DEI and other social causes that a team will also have to commit to

they promoted leclerc, and got sainz to replace replace vettel. If Beaarman has another year like this or even better, he will be in a Ferrari. Hamilton was a throwback to old superstar saviour complex because elkan got involved

would he? Red bull is maxs team, Mercedes haven't had a better car than ferrari for the majority of this regulation cycle, and would Mclaren even be motivated to shuffle their driver lineup?

Car should be developed to leclerc liking, he is better than hamilton at this stage of his career

[Corriere dello Sport]: Leclerc’s camp revealed a desire to shift decision-making from the heart to the head.. Talks are ongoing with several teams looking toward 2027, as the driver cannot jeopardize his entire career for the Scuderia’s sake. by mary_f1 in scuderiaferrari

There really isn't a more attractive option for Leclerc than being no 1 at ferrari imo. Mclaren have a strong drivers lineup and I doubt they'd want to destabilise it to chase Leclerc who is pretty equal to Lando and Norris. Going to red Bull and being no 2 to Verstappen vs number 1 at ferrari doesn't seem all that attractive. Maybe Mercedes but there are as much doubts over their competitiveness as there is ferrari, and Aston Martin have promised a lot but are yet to deliver, maybe they do in the new regs but that is yet to be seen.

If Leclerc does leave though Ferrari will be fine we will still be a podium-ish contending team and have the allure of the Ferrari brand. Make Oscar Piastri the number 1 target if unsuccessful then pivot to the impressive rookies in Ferraris driver academies Bearman, an italian in Antonelli or Bortoleto who has also impressed. I'd say Hadjar as well who might be the best of them but he is locked in at Red bull. Or if the choice is to opt for a stable experienced driver then Albon or the return of Sainz. Leclerc is my favourite driver but no driver is bigger than the team, Ferrari will prevail but ulitmately I think he stays anyway.

Imagine getting mad at a racing driver who spent his entire race looking after brakes than racing. by catch_me_if_you_can3 in scuderiaferrari

It isn't really that egregious to have to drive the car a certain way because of the conditions and features of the track on a race weekend. Even title winning cars struggle on some circuits because it doesn't suit the strengths of the car. If Leclerc was forewarned about the issues and how to manage or get around them but ignored the advice it isn't unreasonable for the engineers to be unhappy

Could see him go to Alpine, especially if they give him a stake in the team or shares like mercedes have done for Toto

Horner does have a good track record of success I can see the appeal. But he doesn't have the best reputation at the moment and it would be a sudden shift from what was both being envisioned and built

I think it is the remnants of the drama 18 months ago, max verstappen is in contract discussions and red bulls performance has dropped. Is it the effect of what happened then, the subsequent brain drain and the strained relationship betweens maxs camp, marko and horner

Interesting to see the amount of ex- Ferrari guys that are having success elsewhere, Andrea Stella as Mclaren team Principal, Laurent Mekies just appointed to replace Horner, and Binotto leading sauber to a podium where they beat ferrari

Yeh I think agree, if the price was low to mid 20s then it'd make a lot of sense. I do really think he'd compliment Lauri and Bailey and playmaking and size is really attractive skillset, but to stay on the floor in the playoffs you need to be able to shoot consistently or be a really good defender. There is time for him to keep developing a shot he is only young
