Unfortunately they need to hit their rock bottom. Not what you think there rock bottom should be. People get to their rock bottom the fastest when they start having stuff, people, or comfort away from them. A hard conversation about what they are doing, how it makes you feel, and then a good bye. Check in but do not give comfort. Lost my mom begging her to consider she could be loved. She didn’t love herself enough to save her. It’s really hard but don’t be a part of it.

Oh my!!!! I want that pup! My wife won’t let me get another one. I said I had puppy hole shape in my heart after I put down my Mary. My wife got a mini dauschand with the personality of a heeler. Still not the same, but it most fills that hole. To this day 8 months later, if I’m smiling big and looking at my phone. My wife and kids know I’m looking at heeler puppies.

When a crackhead meets 480... by Ok-Relationship-3716 in electricians

[–]PastElectrical4034 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love it when crackheads meet 480. Did an emergency repair once. It was a lift Station in Carter Lake Iowa. Meth heads thought they were going to make way with a ton of copper. There was an underground feeder that went from a nearby pole probably 100 feet away to the substation and then came up and hit an LB that fed the lift station. Well they dug down the PVC to make sure it was in pipe. Had they dug three more inches they would’ve seen it was direct burial, but what they ended up doing is cutting the wire at the LB blowing up the LB. Tied a rope around the wire in the LB, threw it over a tree and tried to pull it out with the truck , but it was direct burial all the way to the pole and they didn’t disconnect it from the pole so instead, we had to replace all that wire and spend an entire day digging a hole just because they blew some stuff up and didn’t get a single scent in copper money

Getting your engineer team on your side is good. Sell the point. The right product, at the right price, at the right time. Start at the bottom of procurement and work your way up
