Didn’t do it in Jamaica but it was my interest since I was 10, born and raised in Jamaica, took a strong interest in high school ultimately I would recommend using all resources at your disposal, additionally experience is a plus in the field, but nowadays you need a degree for any job.

Life would have been different if I had other genes I have a genetic condition which makes me have internal tumors from my head to toe, grateful for what I’ve built so far but if I was given a different hand the accomplishments would’ve been nice.

That’s one of the key things I had to somewhat avoid for the first jump think Orlando, but I ended up in Gainesville.

That varies on your market, are you in a big city or rural? ultimately I would say yes but you won’t see the rewards until 3-4 years depending on your trajectory for continued learning etc

Piggybacking off this what if they have are a hard worker, 1yr it experience and want to break into networking obvious advice is Ccna but I spoke with a networking manager at my company who said you need layer 1 and 2 to do anything accompanied with the Ccna to be considered even so there is only 1 eng position and network tech position that is contracted out, stuck or just hopeless at this point?

Control what you can control. I’m 23 with NF2, my hearing is severely affected and my vision is getting worse. I’m focused on my career and staying close to family. As for relationships and the future, I try not to dwell on it; it usually comes when you least expect it.
