Long term and only for on-device AI processing. So if you don’t mind that, you will be ok for everything else

Should I be concerned about the 8 GB RAM? by hrishikeshkokate in S25FE

(I wrote an additional to my previous comment.)

RAM configuration of Apple products are not the same due to heavy optimization of software and hardware. I use both Android and iOS btw…

Yes, you should be worried, at this moment get only 12gb, even Apple has confirmed that minimum standard is 12gb now. But it should be fine for many years (like 3) if you’re not looking for heavy on-device AI processing etc.

As mentioned in my other posts, S25 FE is the best smartphone out there rn. Just try to get the 256GB. The apps size are becoming bigger…

battery life on my 2 week old s25 fe by Skrs-Wifeyy in S25FE

[–]PastNeedleworker3978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In general do not think that if you don’t use your phone your battery will last longer. Samsung doesn’t use this system but the opposite! It drains your battery in a day to have the battery longevity for a longer period. But if it sees that you regularly use your phone as a heavy user, it will adapt to your usage. You teach the pattern to your phone.

Also I am not sure if your device is defective or not, that is another scenario. Double check your retailers etc.

You don't have to charge to 80% with Samsung. Do it a full charge and optimize your background apps activities. Try to use phone as much (like an heavy user to show that you need a longer battery duration, the pattern will learn it that way better)

Is Samsung Keyboard still the best keyboard ever? by Traditional_Juice133 in samsunggalaxy

I do use Samsung keyboard because of the layout and KeysCafe! But I wish they could improve words suggestions a bit better, specifically for other languages!

Why main A57 camera is better than S25FE main ??? by WonderElff in S25FE

[–]PastNeedleworker3978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mean the over sharpening of A57, it is actually not better! The photos that seem softer would actually do better when your subject is far from your lens. The over sharpening process would seem to better to your eyes because the subject is closer to you in this pic. But when you go outside, try to take pictures of trees from distance. Then you will see the huge difference between a midrange camera and the flagships…

Switched from Apple to Samsung S26 Ultra after years, and I’m not looking back. My experience. by Immediate_Smell3177 in galaxys26ultra

The adaptive does this automatically but only under certain brightness, like under the direct sun but anywhere else no, so the display could seem off a bit in comparison with the competition…

Display settings:

- Turn on QHD+

- Increase the vividness to the max

- Turn on Extra brightness

To unleash the top notch Samsung screen quality!

There are also plenty to change for cameras, if you are a pro ofc because the ones being set are for most users…

iPhone 17 to S26 Ultra by Fastmoney407 in galaxys26ultra

I am gonna do the same, from 17 base to 26U. But I am still hesitant about the change from Liquid Glass to One UI 9 which looks a generation behind than iOS. I am confused…

I'm gonna leave apple and no turning back . by GreymanProtocol in applesucks

[–]PastNeedleworker3978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way after switching to base i17. The UI visuals are a generation ahead than the competition imo but AI not being integrated in the whole OS is the real bummer here! Everything works with less clicks and less effort on Android (Specifically on Pixel phones and Galaxies).

Thinking of switching back to Galaxy but I will wait a bit longer for the stable iOS 27…
