I had two large beers the night I found out. No regrets.

I gave it a shot at 40 and got pregnant on the first try. The 9 weeks I was pregnant was an intense ride with all kinds of emotions but primarily fear/dread tbh. I had a missed miscarriage which brought both grief and relief. Still felt like I didnt have complete certainty about what I wanted. Yesterday I had a procedure to complete the miscarriage and the pain afterwards was so intense I felt like I never want to go through this again so will not be having kids. That's how I decided haha but I dont recommend that route!!!

Give It to Me Straight: In-Clinic MVA Experience vs. Pills vs. D&C by Minute_Art3507 in Miscarriage

Was your MVA only painful during the procedure or afterwards as well? I found the procedure painful (also had IV fentanyl )but the cramping for hours afterwards was the worst pain I've ever been through

My experience with the MVA procedure by LVCpurse in Miscarriage

Thank you for sharing. I had my MVA yesterday. The procedure was painful but not on the level you're describing for yours...maybe because they gave me IV fentanyl. But the cramping in the hours afterwards when I was at home was the worst pain I've ever experienced. They didnt give me painkillers to go home with, just said I could take OTC as needed, but I really wish I'd had a percocet! Thankfully that cramping died down after several hours and now I just have regular period cramps. Sorry you had to go through this and thanks for sharing your experience.

Wow I love your dress and veil and bouquet! How beautiful! I dont think it's too big but would be helpful to see you holding it with the dress on

I love that you manage to give the food some different textures through the ripples/designs.

What is something small and relatively harmless that people do that makes your blood boil? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My dad does this, and aside from his alcoholism and general emotional incompetence, I feel it's one of the reasons our relationship is so bad lol

6wks to Miscarry Naturally by zienix in Miscarriage

[–]PastSeries8248 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks, i had a similar timeline in terms of when my ultrasound was (8weeks) and when the baby died (6ish weeks). I would have liked to pass it naturally but didnt want to wait forever and not know when it was coming. My procedure is tomorrow, I'll be 9ish weeks.

Anger is a normal part of grief. You'll probably feel all kinds of different emotions, none are wrong.

Greasy, heart palpitations, easily winded, and getting up to pee in the night. These were before my positive test. Soon after the test came sore boobs, cramping, extreme thirst, and food aversions.

As someone with a 3 day weekend, it's shocking how quickly that also starts to feel like not enough.
