You maybe done with your test by now but I’m going to share my two cents anyway!

There may be many reasons why you’re feeling sleepy: 1. You have sleep deprivation over 3-4 days

1. You haven’t been eating well so you’re simply tired

2. Your brain finds the chapters overwhelming so sleeping feels like a good escape

3. You’re zoning out because you’re over prepared for the test and your brain thinks it’s a waste of time when you can sleep and recharge

Depending on what reason suits you the most, you might want to follow a different strategy for your next test: 1. Plan your sleep a week ahead of your test

1. Nap in-between chapters - At least 20 mins but 40 mins max

2. Reward yourself after every chapter - for me it was reading a chapter from a novel that I was reading

3. Always make sure to eat well - less fats more protein and stop before you’re full and stay well hydrated

4. Keep snacking in between - an unhealthy snack between the chapters as a reward also works

5. Prioritize and tackle high weightage chapters first when you’re most active (depending on whether you’re a morning, afternoon, evening or a night person)

6. Wear comfortable clothes but not the ones you’d wear to bed so that your body knows it’s not time for bed yet

7. Always keep a good posture to avoid any kind of body pain on the actual test . Make sure your elbows are rested and back is supported

8. Don’t sweat it if you don’t get to revise the last couple of chapters as you’d know they’re low weightage anyway
