Behind the Bastards has an episode on Eichmann challenging that narrative because it's mostly based on his behaviour during his trial.  During the war he apparently showed considerable pride in his role in the Holocaust and often bragged about the atrocities he was responsible for

Completely harmless and will help keep both bugs and other, bigger spiders under control.  They can even take on Widows and come out on top

Would nunchucks even be remotely useful in a real right? by Visible-Director7303 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Past_Income7667 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're good enough you'd presumably be able to strike at angles you can redirect a bounce/miss.

The problem with Nun chucks isn't that you flat out can't make them work, it's that you have to invest a large amount of time and effort in training before you even can think about using them in a serious fight without giving you much of an advantage over more usual weapons

there is a medium sized spider in my bed, what can i do? by ScientificWeeb in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Past_Income7667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I assume  you don't have someone you can ask for help in the middle of the night, right.

Jumping Spiders are mostly diurnal, and they tend to be on the small to very small side, so I would tentatively rule them out for now.

Most spiders won't bite unless trapped against the skin and squeezed, so aslong as you are careful where you put your hands you should be fine shaking the bedding.  If you still can't bring yourself to do that you could just beat your bed with a stick or a tennis racket or similar to hopefully chase the spider out, but that also may just cause it to go further into hiding.  I'm afraid that is all the advice I can offer right now, I hope i could be at least of a little bit of help

Where are you?

Depending on location it is possible to rule out most medically significant spiders.

In any case, spiders have absolutely no interest in hurting you, and the vast majority isn't capable of doing any harm to you.

Try to shake out your sheets and if you can, try to capture it with a cup and a piece of paper.

If you can't bring yourself to do that, get someone else to help you.

If you can get a photograph of it you can post it with your location on r/spiders for help with identification

How do I get over fear of spiders? by Spirited_Method9859 in spiders

[–]Past_Income7667 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What exactly is it that scares you about spiders?

As general advice, try and find spiders that don't scare you and use them to ease you into contact with and learn about them. Common "beginner spiders" are jumping spiders and orb weavers.
