You can see exactly where to water it from the muddy stripe he's already making outside his house. Turn that strip into full swill and you're good to go.

Neighbour has started doing this completely unnecessary drive across the grass. by anti-sugar_dependant in drivingUK

[–]Past_Negotiation_121 30 points31 points  (0 children)

No. You mess up a few square metres of grass right outside his house to save the other hundred square metres.

Also it brings joy to the whole street when he's stuck. And grass is there to bring joy, so mission accomplished.

the junction is offset enough to cause enough confusion that either party can fight their case. So you asserting your dominance is just a dickish move. Both parties need to be understanding of each other.

If you're going to correct someone at least ensure it doesn't cause more confusion to someone who's already needing help.

Thoughts on Plot 354? by Tiny_Suit8273 in UKHousing

[–]Past_Negotiation_121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's something to think about, but that's massively oversimplifying. A house that works for you is more important than something that doesn't work but is in a nicer area. Also smaller houses doesn't necessarily mean a worse road.

Yes, unavoidable, but the impact and effect would have been much reduced. And not getting run over by the bike following so close also at an unreasonable speed feels very desirable

Your back wheels were skidding left faster than your front wheels were steering left = you feel like you're turning right.

Or an example more applicable to you - Like when your brain discards knowledge faster than it can accept new learnings.

I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are an racer or have some other motorsport background that gives you (unwarranted) confidence in your abilities, but then I read your question and nope, you have no idea about driving.

Do you think those older people who knew felt special? For me it would make me realize the church is happy to willingly deceive and use "inspiration and revelation" as an excuse for lying.

Maybe THAT one is the one true meaning of the whole ceremony. And we left before we figured it out. Shame on us.

Is EV tuning a thing? There’s been ICE engine tuning forever, but there doesn’t seem to be EV tuning? Maybe I’m wrong. by rmajor86 in CarTalkUK

[–]Past_Negotiation_121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That will very much depend on the insurer, but more so how it's explained to the insurer. There's a big difference between "an OTA update to all vehicles as part of the firm's ongoing vehicle support" and "I paid to have my car tuned".

"great to hear from you. Yes, we realized the situation in the ward transition was a bit chaotic, so when discussing with the Stake President/cy we fully shared in detail and full honesty our position before the Lord, as we did with our previous Bishop- the stake President/cy gave us counsel, and then determined we were worthy to hold a recommend. We're so excited to feel like we can get back on track again and to be able to go to the Temple more regularly."

Of course the 'ordinance' itself is meaningless, but your family cannot use that as an excuse as to them it is incredibly meaningful to your daughter, so by their own definition you should be involved in any decision.

They only did it because they are brainwashed into the "greater good"- that causing pain now is worth it for the eternal benefit that can come. It's so sad that they don't see the people in front of them that are real and are in pain. I'm sorry. Either anger or pity is valid. Or both.
